Top Tier Domain Name advice

Just looking for some quick advice. I just bought a .org domain name that recently expired and hadn't been used for many years. The .com and .net sites with the same name automatically redirect to a the same legit site that gets millions of visitors a year. What would you do in this situation? Try to sell it to the organization, or monetize it with merchandise or a blog? What are your thoughts? I'm new to this business, but I've read a lot of the posts on here. Thanks.

They won't buy it, and I don't see the value in your domain, unless it is a high search volume keyword.

If they really would want that domain they would been bought it by themselves. Probably it is worthless and .org dosent make any sense with their service/homepage - so it is basically wasted 10 bucks

Have you checked it back through Wayback Archive, to see what was on it ?

Yes, it was never anything at all. Just a placeholder. Then for sale for a short period back in 2002.
