Hey guys,

So I am getting married in 2 days and the only time I remember being so stressed was my result day in high school. Maybe this time it's even worse. It's not like i don't love this girl. We've been together for more than 5 years and everything has been great so far.
It's just that I don't feel prepared for such a big responsibility. As if marriage isn't my thing. I love my privacy, my decisions, my work, my time, myself etc. I discussed this with a friend who thought I am being too selfish. But I guess selfishness is something when you are demanding for love, care, help, support but aren't willing to offer the same. My life has always been perfect. My work has always been my real love. Never felt the need of a partner to fill in the emptiness because there is no emptiness. Well, I guess it's too late to realize this. :( I should have thought of this back in Oct 2016 or 5 years ago when we first started dating.
I don't really understand why am I sharing this here, actually its kind of releasing off some burden in my heart. Hope everything goes well.

Would love to hear your opinions, experiences and suggestions.

Just say you need more time?
too late for that :(
I broke up with her last year. Later felt guilty and decided to patch up. It was me to decide the wedding date and everything. Now i regret that day :( I almost fixed everything last year. WTH

Not sure what to say, it is normal to feel nervous and anxious but you should be excited.
If you really feel you don't want to go through with it then you should cancel it.
No point going through with something that you don't really want just because you might be disappointing other people.
Just be sure it is the right decision.

I kind of feel the same way. I've been with girlfriend for almost 5 years now and I'm only 24. My advice would be, tell your new soon to be wife how you feel about it and make sure she gives you your space when you need it. Everyone is different and you are not alone in this position. Good luck with everything man! Thanks for reminding me I'm not alone in this regard.

So you fed the goat , groomed it , fed it and now when its time to slaughter it you are hesitating.

Well its a normal feeling
Since you were the one to decide the marriage date i see no chance of you escaping .

Maybe it wont be that bad .

I don't know your life, but I think you should both just have some privacy time too, so I see no problem. Personally, I look forward to marry, think it will be a great thing if you're with the right one.

i was having the same issue TBH i suffered alot at the beginning, i love my privacy my me time. but i told her that i want some privacy after marriage.
she thought i am selfish but that's me now i manage my time with her with no problems still have my me time some privacy and life goes on.
my advice to you RUN RUN RUN don't do it its a trap :Djk

How would you feel if she was walking down the isle with someone else? If the answer is BAD, then lock that shit down bruh.

Also, pics of your wife or it didn't happen :D

Well, wish I could just cancel it but there's no going back at this point or I will end up breaking so many hearts :( I honestly think I would end up being a huge disappointment for everyone. Last year I tried so hard to explain her about this, but I couldn't bear those tears. Hope she understand and give me enough space. I've always been extremely timely for everything I do, ex, Wake up at 8:00, gym at 8:45, work at 10:00, talk to my gf from 22:00-23:30 etc. My habit really drives everyone crazy.

Glad there's someone out there who feels the same.

So is that a yay or nay on the whole mom thing?

How do we know you're not a gerontophile, huh? You know, you could be into those sexagenarians and we wouldn't even know (or as you might call them, sexygenarians).
