Don't stress too much about it, if someone is stealing your content and people are engaging with it, it just means your content was good and people will always try and steal good content. It's better to have people impersonating you than to have no one interested.
I have had similar experiences and still do till this day, so I would suggest you just try to grow a new page and maybe request a Facebook page merge, (if it it was a page) at some later stage if they don't remove it before then. Then all their work will benefit you.
Try not to get angry, just get better. Report them and submit your ID routinely.
Create back up pages with proxies .Get ready for war and continue to create engaging content and build your brand.
