Solution to ghost block problem?

Hi guys,

Since December 2016 my posts are not visible on top9 posts by any hashtag (though they are still in the hashtag feed).
Everyone who follows that account can see posts on top9, but not those who don’t follow.

Here are couple of screen shots so you could better understand what I mean:

I still couldn’t find any solution to this problem. I tried to disable both my accounts: it helped one of them, but the biggest one is still phucked up.

Do you have any idea what could be a solution for this?

It's a pain in the a$$... The same thing is happening to me at the moment. My posts aren't showing anywhere in the hashtag gallery to the people who aren't following me. They are visible just to myself and my followers.

Tested creating new accounts (US IP, PVA, new mail etc..) no success. The posts aren't shown anywhere to non-followers.

I am confused too and do not what exactly to do...

TOP9 is UNIQUE to individual users. You can't determine your top9 by looking at your phone. You need to look at it from a different account not in your niche or related to your niche.
If you show up anywhere in the hashtag timeline to non-followers for any 1 tag, you are not shadow banned.

People are panicking about shadow bans. A Shadow ban is EVERY POST, EVERY TAG is hidden to non users. If you glitch on 29 tags but show up for 1 tag, you are NOT shadow ban.

Best way to check is hop on a browser and check. I use Opera with the built in VPN so you KNOW it can't possibly be because you're looking from a relevant party to your account. I never use Opera to sign into ANY IG account.

I look up the account name, then search through each tag. Likely, you'll pop up for some. If you're not hitting those top 9, just means your content sucks relevant to that tag. Instagram tracks CONTENT now. If your content sucks, then you can expect you won't get anywhere.

Yep. What I do is Firefox via VPN to a different region and just do instagram.com/explore/tags/NAME_OF_HASHTAG

This works. But I find doing this from different Proxy I can see how some tags are being hidden or not up to date as Instagram has to synchronize and do their replication cross their CDN network,. Some tagged images show up sooner than others in different region. But it is a good technique to see if someone is shadow ban.

When u are not logged in u can see ur pics in top9. When u are logged in with an acc that dont follow ur other acc u dont see the pics. I have 4 accs that are shadow banned like this.

This is a growing issue, you can search up 'Instagram shadowban' and you'll get articles on it. I can't say I'm "shadow banned," but I noticed that my posts are showing up short. I use a hashtag based on my brand's name that nobody uses, and would have the majority of my photos be seen as top posts or on recent posts. Now I can only see my most recent top posts which is one. I knew something was up with my lowered engagement and now I'm seeing this is a growing problem

People are already speculating that this is an attempt to get users to buy ads. I hope some of you have followlikr or a good bot. Because until this gets fixed, your engagement is coming from your followers only

Couple of predictions I have based on this theory:

1. You get to pay to be in top posts of certain hashtags
2. Hashtags stop working altogether, and in order to get reach you pay to come up in feeds instead
3. They let us use hashtags still, but make reach only work for well established accounts (pretty much how it is now)

Idk man. Zuck said it himself that privacy doesn't really mean much in the modern world. Yet Snap is pushing privacy (well not anymore). They've got a big ticket stock price attached to their name. They don't want to devalue that.

That'd be crazy for them to compete with those platforms. Instagram has the highest traffic and engagement by a large margin in comparison to other Social Medias. Not discrediting you by the way, only noting that would be incompetent of them to try and change up because they're killing it

Yes. I was checking my stuff in incognito mode and also sent out link to my friends without instagram to check the pictures, they seen me on the feed and top posts. WHen i told some friends to use their instagram account that is not linked to my IG profile (no follows and such) all my pictures were gone.

Conclusion - checking top posts and shadowban with browser is not reliable way to do it. As using app and browser yielded completely different results.

And i used a lot of testing and weak hashtags where top post picturs had 0 likes 0 comments and were older then 3-5 days, yet i couldnt take them out from top post...

Anyone having same issues??

I hve the same issue. Also diesnt show up in locations.
