Internal Blog Keywords?

What are the tips & rules of thumb for internal site blog keywords? I heard things have changed with the recent algorithm updates and we should only be using a few keywords per blog post. Also do we want the internal links to your homepage? I'm referring to a blog on your main webpage, not blog posts for building links.

Ok, so having a blog on your website and posting frequent blog posts helps with SEO. What are the tips regarding the keywords for these internal blog posts? If I'm a company who offers 10 different services, do I try to put all 10 of these services as keywords in the blog post(with natural text that makes sense)? Do I only focus a few? Are there words I omit? Do I add anchor links back to my homepage? Etc
