By doing this you are just diluting you efforts. Basically you are distracting your visitors. You are confusing them.
I think you should focus on one thing. It will give you more results. However, you can use both of them together.

That isn't strictly correct. To apply for the Affiliate programme, you need some form of website or social media page with followers.

You can...but you mean post your affiliate site or post an affiliate link to a single item? Instagram allows one clickable link in your bio, but that's it. Links in posts aren't clickable.

Sure, but is that going to be cost effective? The whole purpose of the Amazon Affiliate scheme is that you are somehow adding value to items/products Amazon sells. Too many people just think they can create a website with no content, import a load of products and replicate what Amazon does.
It should do, yes. It's much better to not use a full affiliate link though, rather use a shortener.

Yeah, You're right Many people thinks in the same manner but people those who thinks like that probably fail. To be a successful Amazon affiliate you need to create authority website.
