Protection While Selling Instagram Account

So I currently have an account that just passed 30k followers. This was all done by myself over the past two years without any sort of bots or anything and someone is interested in purchasing this account from me.

They currently own an account in my niche with 150k followers and want to acquire mine for some reason. We have come to agree on a price of $8,000 (I know...) but I just can't help but fear that they'll do a charge back on Paypal.

Can anyone point me in the safest direction for making this happen? Our current deal is that they'll send me half up-front, they will receive the login details, and once they're in they will send the remaining funds.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could use an Official Middle Man (OMM).

Another method is to accept a different payment method to eliminate a means of a chargeback.

Is there a big company that does that? I wasn't able to find one. If you know of one could you please post a link?

I wanted to go with a wire transfer but I live in the US and they live in the UK so a wire transfer could take up to 3 days where as a PayPal is nearly instant (from my understanding).

If the user is on BHW, I'm sure you could ask a Moderator to OMM for a small fee. Otherwise I'm not too sure as all my transactions regarding an OMM have been directly supplied by the forums.

A wire transfer even if it takes longer is probably the safest method. He could pay you half up front, wait the three days, then you could send him the account and receive the other half.

Unfortunately they aren't a member of BHW. I will discuss the waiting period with them about a wire transfer.

The problem isn't with me on the wire. They are nervous about sending the 4k up front since it wouldn't be refundable. This negotiation has been a nightmare..

I just checked it out and that just might work. It doesn't say anything about an online account, so I will contact them and see what they say.

Yeah, the number is quite high but I don't think they know that you can buy them cheaper elsewhere. Also I have made a separate account to try and acquire some higher accounts 40k, 60k, and 160k and none of them where really open to selling for a reasonable price.

No way $8000 for a 30k page, especially if they have a page with 150k Followers, they know the deal. If you can sell that page for 8k, then i can make $400,000 every 3-6 months selling 30k pages.

I've been in the IG game longer then two years and I sold it for 8k and everything went smooth.

No way $8000 for a 30k page, especially if they have a page with 150k Followers, they know the deal. If you can sell that page for 8k, then i can make $400,000 every 3-6 months selling 30k pages.

Report back in 3-6 months with your 400k earnings. I sold it for 8k without any problems.

This thread is old. Account was sold a few days after this post. Engagement was normal. I just got lucky is all.
