For the last 4 months now I have been incoming ~$500/month from automating a video game, however, I know that will soon come to an end with a game update or competition. I really wanted to get my monthly income from something more reliable/stable/steady. I have been programming, designing, and scripting now for many years, but I never really got into doing more with my work than personal use and hobbies (which is how my current income started -- a hobby) or the occasional freelance job.
I have been renting a pretty beefy vps for over a year now, however it's doing nothing besides relaying and storing some information for my video game venture mentioned above. I have been giving some serious consideration to starting a website, or a series of smaller websites to start earning another source of income for myself, however, I never really looked into it from a business perspective and wanting to earn income. Even though I am earning a decent amount monthly online right now, that's all going towards bills, which doesn't really leave me much to save.
With all of that being said, I still have a small amount $50-$100, that I could commit to initial start-up costs and fees. I mentioned above that I already have a vps and I know how to manage and program anything that would be required... I just don't know where to go next. I started reading tutorials and guides, but I am really hoping to skip past this year or two of trial and error, hit the nail on the head the first time. I don't really learn well from tutorials that are posted online -- I personally feel I am more of a visual learner. I would give anything for someone to do a remote viewing session with me and just give me an overview of their system, I keep wanting to think this is more complex than what it needs to be, because I know there are kids out there making money doing the same things. I want to break all of the rules and say that I only have the time and money for success, not failure, so with that should I look for someone to accompany me on this journey, or give up before I begin?
