At my job right now

How many people here started off juggling a job and internet marketing? I am sure most came from that same struggle.

How did you guys balance it? What aspects of the internet did you focus on, social networks? Seo?
I always hated working for others. If my internet projects workout then i can do it full-time.

i started off the same. wasn't making enough on IM so i had to get a job. whenever i wasnt working, i was experimenting online. after enough failures, you'll hit a winning internet marketing strategy. just be persistent and dont give up. you'll win eventually. then you can tell your boss/coworkers to kiss your ass and never see them again.

I always wanted to do IM. Here are the reasons:

* No need to talk or speak to anyone face to face. Get orders, you deliver, you earn.. As simple as that.
* No need of expensive physical space/shop is required to sell. Own a laptop and start a virtual shop with few dollars of hosting and domain.
* And success in IM is not pretty hard. Follow this:

* Start e-commerce/dropship store
* Advertise it via adwords or FB
* Earn guaranteed returns(sooner or later)
* Scale it up to earn full time living.

Joe's Crab Shack. It works out because it is so different from IM it provides a good balance. Sucks sometimes waiting tables but cash in hand, and the money is decent. i still have most of the daytime to work on IM.

Internet marketing was my first job. Probably it will be my last so I do not know anything about juggling a part-time job with IM.

It seemed like a huge waste of time going to college and trying out at an agency, doing some boring job.

Not if you die it is not. For example, I'm not guaranteed to take my next shit, as I may die in the meantime. And Google ads making money are certainly not guaranteed, in fact, far from it.
