Sorry but this is a kiddy statement.First of all i don't own a product which bhw members would buy.I want to exchange experience on some domestic topics IM related. The gain is in knowledge and not selling any products/banana.Maybe if you had a website selling bananas, you would be fine with people joining your website and saying to all your members, hey come and join my banana selling Skype group?
Asking for creation of a skype group as a newcomer is almost no different than advertising your website or service.
Sure, your intention may be peacefully, but why should we risk with it? I mean you're a newbie, you didn't contributed or something. Your reputation is 0.
Re rules: you should take the rules with a grain of salt and not literally word with word. Mkay sir?
I don't need to see how things run since the terms clearly states how it has to run.Suggest you let things rest and see how things run around here.
I actually linked to that thread to show you that there are rules on the forum that aren't referenced in any sticky threads or the TOS. I updated it with 2 additional rules on Thursday and I'm still adding to it.@Zwielicht thank you but i saw it and it also doesnt say a single word about not being allowed to start a skype group
Thank you for that confirmation that i'm responsible for ex moderators fraud.Did i choosed that moderator or any of these other scammers that i need to proof a lot ?
They do it for our safety, and yes. A new member have a lot to prove.
If you watch the shitlist, there was even a ex moderator that scammed people. So i understand why they take hard actions on new members.
1. Newbies scam here, that's just how it is. The mods do the best they can to prevent that, including keeping newbies on a shorter leash. Most of us here prefer it that way.
2. You need the forum more than the forum needs you, that's just how it is. Ease yourself in and it's a great place to find information and opportunities.
That's about as simple as it gets. Do with it what you will.
And @Zwielicht is one of the chillest mods arround here.
All the time... the warnings are in place to keep the ship in the right direction, not to be punitive.
And @Zwielicht is one of the chillest mods arround here.
Capo has been temporarily banned until March 19th.AFAIK he is perma banned, it is silly to lose your BHW over pointless arguments.
Never seen a Mod ban anybody without reason and normally they give plenty of warnings, looks like Capo didn't take the hint, which is a shame.
@Asif
The linked member broke the terms of forum which i can link which exectly one as i know seo clearly states which rule he has broke.
What i'm asking since i read the forum terms twice and all notifications that there is no rule on bhw not allowing new members to open a skype group if i'm wrong please point me to that rule and i will appoligize instantly.
You claim i made a lot of drama. So when my thread gets deleted and i get a warning for something which is not against the rules i'm the guy who makes the drama ?Don't i have the right to ask to obey the forum rules ?I'm also obaying the rules and if i broke any rule so please point it to me.
What you demand is to obey on everything somebody says no matters if its right or not
I don't need to see how things run since the terms clearly states how it has to run.
Anyway i'm out of that thread and am going to call Damien on monday to get him to make a public statement if i need to obey or not.
If i need you can be sure i was the last time here but knowing Damien he would never demand something like that
March 19th year 2028 right ?Capo has been temporarily banned until March 19th.
No, I made a mistake. It actually expires on February 29th, 2096 at 5:32 PM.March 19th year 2028 right ?
The fact is there are many rules which aren't in the ToS, these unwritten rules come about from time to time to protect members, there are far too many unofficial skype groups which noobs have joined and then been ripped off in.
There are also separate rules in different threads, check the sticky sections.
If you have a problem with a Mod then take it up with support but don't be disappointed if it doesn't go your way, Mods delete threads and posts as necessary and they do not have to provide you with an explanation, although if you contact them they usually do.
Seriously this forum is not a democracy, it is a privately owned website which is a small part of a larger business and at the end of the day, Mods police the forum on behalf of Damien and the team, calling them out it is like calling Damien out directly and not really a wise move.
Since i know Basstrackerboat is afraid of having a real conversation and argumentation as he clearly over reacted in my case i'm going to call on monday Damien since i know him personly from older times and talk with him if on his board the forum terms have any meanings and if members own the rights according to the terms or if they need to obey any ridiculous decission by a mod who isnt even able to point which rule he broke.
I'm going to make a screenshot for Damien showing that this thread also got deleted i also already safed the thread from the suggestion board and ask him too what purpose this board has when anything negativ about bhw gets instantly deleted or closed.
For me case closed i will save that thread and call on monday to Damien and asking him if he really wants me to obey to such actions.
Anyway i'm out of that thread and am going to call Damien on monday to get him to make a public statement if i need to obey or not.
If i need you can be sure i was the last time here but knowing Damien he would never demand something like that
Damien knows who i am maybe not under this nick but on monday he is going to know.
And you can trust me i would win this case with ease when demanding recompensation (which would be for that case very low).
