Crazy Google Dance In The Last 24 Hours

Hi there.

I wrote the content myself. I currently do freelance writing on the side, so my writing skills are up to par. It's difficult to imagine that Google punished me because of my content.

I'm biased, of course, and could be wrong.

I'll keep an eye on my rankings and report back when something changes.
What is the average time on site and bounce rate for your site?

Discussing any changes to sites during week is bullshit at the span of next week. Only legit information, that should be posted here is any recoveries/local seo effects. Tired of reading 34 pages of non-sense, would love to keep it to bare minimum..

Anybody using SEMrush tracking my overall rankings have been declining since Sunday?

Main keyword had gone off, came back and gone off, I suspect a keyword cannibalisation issues.

Yep

Removing a PBN during the update is like telling Google "I admit it I control these links".

Links don't disappear during an update. It's even built into Google's algorithm to detect exactly what you did. Now they know your PBN.
+1

So due to last Google Fred Update and massive rankings drop I decide to create some kind of poll where we can share some website information to find out what do we have in common, I am not asking for any urls or email, just pure seo information
I already submit my site for start, here is the link http://158.69.193.85/form.php to the form, please be honest and share it with others who lost rankings due to last update (FRED march 8th or after)
The more info we collect = faster we will find out what do we have in common
Everybody could see results of submissions at the bottom of the form (link to results)

Question... ALL you you guys who got hit... were you making money off ads? I've heard that this only affected people who's sites had lots of ads.

The 2 sites I do have ads on are stable. The ones without took a drive. Slowly improving back, but no idea what this could be about as things vary so wildly. Lets wait until the dust settles and hopefully its not a catastrophe.

Haha, sounds like you just started watching your rankings from a tracker recently.. welcome to SEO brother!

This happens with anyone - anywhere when they start doing SEO to a site... the bouncing stops after Day 60 or so..

One guy reported a comeback.

Site with 20 pages, he observed that 5 were desinxed. The pages had thin content (3-4imgs + 150 words + 3 ads) and a link to the home. What he did:
  • Removed ads
  • Added content
  • Deleted the links to the home

That happened:

Lets say they did find out idk if they will because i put like under going maintenance up, but if it failed and they found out how will i know they found out they will deindex the pbn?

So in your case it can't be content nor links how is your technical seo?

Yeah if they find out they penalize the PBN and all your linked sites.

Google is like any other search engines, it has its days. It seems you experienced a bad one. It happened to me too more and more often, but I prefer to not look at the rankings for a 24 hour period.
