Anyone else doing Bitcoin mining?
I make about 8 blocks(50) a week with my computer(s). USING HYPER-V as one new platforms now. the others are linux

The market seems great.

Bitcoins is a new virtual or electronic currency created in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto. It was developed on a peer to peer network so that rather then have a government or central bank look over all the transactions the network polices itself based on its members. If he got 8 blocks a week and mined for a year so should he have had 10400 bitcoins, I guess he left BHW as a rich man.

Your thread is 3 years old. On that time BTC mining was profitable but now Bitcoin mining is dead. Now it is impossible to think about mining with your own PC. It's just a waste of your time and money.

I still wouldn't touch this currency with a 10 foot pole. Accepting bitcoins for my services (i run a few) would be like shooting myself in the face...

What and how am I going to convert that into a lamborghini? The car dealership is certainly not accepting bitcoin, let alone, would even have heard of it.

Make my words, if you are going to make money on this do it know while you still can. Like anything else this will diminish very quickly and the people at the bottom on the pyramid will get screwed. BTW Bitcoins are selling like crazy on Ebay.
