If you lack the basic ability to do the repairs that Best Buy (Geek Squad) or staples would do, then you probably do not belong in IM as a blackhat. The stuff they do is determine if a card is bad, determine if the MB is bad, determine if the PS is bad, and run virus scanners. Of course, as the world has known for a while, they also scan for porn and child porn.

To give you the idea of the skill level of most repair facilites, including Best Buy, a real life story is appropriate. I have a PC Laptops Desktop. The fan in the PS went out. I went to PC laptops to buy a fan. They told me that they could not sell me one because no one makes them. (BS as I will show.) Then I went to Best Buy and was told the same. Then I went to a PC builder I know that imports from China. He went into his back rook and came out with one in about two minutes. Cost? About $20. That was this year. PC Laptops and Best Buy were willing to sell me a new Power supply though. I do not believe in spending money that does not need spending.

In America you can even get charged for having child porn if its of someone of legal age if they can't verify the age. If its of some amateur from another country, good look getting subpoenas to track them down. As marijuana becomes more legal and police/sheriffs department start losing revenue I wouldn't be surprised if they also get in on this deal. The majority of people would agree to pay a fine and have their tech confiscated while pleading to a lesser charge that keeps them off the news and sex offender list, than to get on the news for being a viewer of CP even if all the content they had was of persons of legal age.

Actually, proper people would have no business looking into your pictures while scanning for virus, or installing a driver for a new video card. If they go into your pictures when there is no need to do so, then they are busy bodies and snoops rather than proper people.

I am using Easy Blog Networks hosting service for PBN's for my 20-site network, and have been communicating and keeping logs of everything in Google Docs with a VA. I haven't been hit by anything. In fact, my metrics are rising and my PBN articles are ranking for some of my client search terms.

A person trying to hide what they're doing at the smallest level... wouldn't take their CP filled computer to someone else. As obvious as this sounds, I bet tons of people get caught this way.
