ok so recently I got the full version of comment hut and have been searching and commenting like crazy.

but I follow all the guidelines, I leave comments after reading the post and make good contributions to my comment and then leave a link to my site in the end.

but recently i also found out about the nofollow tag, and after searching found out that all the blogs, including wordpress and wrodpress.com have nofollow turned on by default.. they automatically add the nofollow tag to all links

and the nofollow kills us webmasters.. :( a it asks the search engines to completely ignore this link or just skip it...

so what am I supposed to do now for SEO?

does anyone else have any alternatives

In early 2005, Google announced that hyperlinks with rel="nofollow" attribute would not influence the link target's ranking in the search engine's index. The Yahoo and MSN search engines also respect this tag.

Hi,
Read this links on nofollow : http://www.exposedseo.com/2008/03/25/do-nofollow-links-help/

Nofollow links don't pass PR but work for SERPs :p.

That's why the "********" movement has started. There are various bloggers that encourage others to post meaningful comments that have the nofollow tag removed. There is a list of ******** blogs here:
Code:

Keep in mind that most of the ******** blogs are moderated, thus your post wont show up right away.

why is that an issue? you should be getting traffic from these blogs you left comments on anyway plus some reputation around the place from it due to insightful information! think about it for a second, even if you arent winning the world in the se's from it, you have another source of traffic that matters a lot less when google has a brainfart and puts you on page 10 instead of 1 for your main keywords for no apparent reason!

Comment Hut in my experience isn't a very good tool for commenting blogs.

It's much better that you get Fast Blog Finder. It allows you to find ******** blogs by keyword, or NoFollow blogs too if you want. You can also sort them by Google PR. I've been very satisfied with it.

fast blog finder?

do you know where i can get that? like the full version? I tried the search function and couldnt find it.
can u plz upload it

also how is it working good for you? share some info :)

yes i want to have fast blog finder too. i downloaded the free version but it only finds 50 results per search. even though i managed to comment on two pr6 ******** blogs. :)

It is surprising that the 'Buy' link of the software does not work !

I have actually gotten some really good backlinks by commenting on blogs.I use the fast blog finder (free version) I have not seen any downloads of the gold version so good luck.

so no one has the full version?

thats sad. :(

hxxp://www.fastblogfinder.com/order/

There is the order page for Fast Blog Finder, it is only $49

If you click the link, you get the following message

'Unfortunately we were unable to find the product you specified. If you'd like to search for the product by name or description simply type in some keywords below.' - The site owner does not seem to be aware of it.

try using commentkahunna, it search for PR and blog that have "do-follow"

I just downloaded BlogCommentDemon for that exact reason, $47, from the same guy who developed BookMarkingDemon.

It comes with a separate "NoFollow" script to weed out the bum blogs and will let you source by PR rank and 11 different blog engines.

I'll test it out and see if I can get some decent links from it.

I prefer comment sniper. It's free and lets me monitor popular blogs for new posts, so I have more chances to respond first. And of course I get more traffic from such comments and I can "discover" these posts on stumbleupon and digg.
It brings more value to my SU and Digg accounts.

Guys half the time the search engines ignore the no follow tag anyway as for commentkahunna it is at least free and you will still see traffic from the links.

-Dambit Gumby- " I coulda had a CommentKahuna!"....oh well, don't tell my wife I spent $47.

I posted this in another thread, but there is a donofollow firefox plugin, all it takes is a right click to see if commenters get follow love, red means no follow, blue means good to go.
