Wow, you serious? I have native writers with $3+/100 words for the site, is that enough?

The last time you read a book, that you liked, did you like it because it was written by someone charging 7 dollars a word or was it because you enjoyed the content, that it was enjoyable to read, that it fulfilled a need and purpose. When did everyone start measuring quality based on length, dollars and cents. Fucking rediculas.

This is true however sometimes content quality correlates with price charged for it.

Sometimes... it does, yep.

Do you know what correlates everytime?

Real quality content, real content that is spoken naturally, has a point, has structure, has purpose. Content that is engaging and solves the searchers problem.

Google is an algorithm, not a human, when did everyone start thinking a computer is human. Fucking "rediculas".

My site is 4 months old. Really good xontent with amazon affilate links, nothing heavy, just 3 links for 1k content.
Rankings are going up and down, mostly down for 50-100positions...
Its really awfull, but i saw that im not alone...
This plus amazon comission fee drop = 0$

Would like to have some of whatever the hell you smoking.

Humans rate pages. That all gets fed into the machine. Together with a boat load of user signals.

C'mon youre honestly saying Google can't tell shit content from good? Let's all go back to spinning then.

I'll focus on pleasing the user, you focus on word count and cost and we'll see who wins brah.

Who would spend money on crappy content that make zero sense to reader and cant solve their search problem. Let alone spinning contents and put it on money site.

Are you mad sir?

That's exactly what I'm saying, genius. Google scans a page and looks for semantic relations (LSI - other words used often by sites in the top results / other words their algorithm thinks are relevant) etc. It cannot tell what is "good" or "bad". That's wishful thinking from someone who puts way too much faith in G. Normal spinning, i.e. just using synonyms in single-words is fairly easy for them to detect, but high-level spinning and content generation is virtually impossible. Am I saying you should use it on money sites? Obviously not. But the idea that G is some magic "human" machine is pure idiocy. I know for a fact, you're wrong.

I think we're getting away from the central point of this thread. Just my two cents.

I've noticed that a large % of my long tail traffic has gone down. Anyone else notice this?

My main keywords have remained relatively stable while my traffic has been cut by 50%.

Long tails have disappeared.

To add, maybe Google is doing this because they WANT us to disavow links? So that they can help RankBrain differentiate between good and bad links?

I highly doubt it's wishful thinking, there are algorithms to analyze the complexity of a text for example, readability and much more. You underestimate the power of big data, if you feed the right algorithms with enough data to compare, they are still far from human perception, but detecting the fingerprint of generic low quality content doesn't require artificial intelligence or similar.

These can be due to an update of the algorythm or due to an use of gsa or other automated software in the past days.

check here: https://algoroo.com/

they track the fluctuation of the keywords and identify the most unreleased google algo updates

Google has obviously been busier since last quarter of last year and seems the game is still on for them.
