Well I read all these positive reviews and received a discount code so I was intrigued. My first thought after reading it?...
You've got to be kidding!!! This is what all you are drooling over??? I can't tell you how much credibility this community lost in my mind after reading all these glowing reviews of this book. So I realized, for the sake of people in the future I would post my own review. Here goes:

To start, the book is 37 pages... Ya, (s)he's literally selling it for $1/page. But at the beginning it addresses this stating that they wanted to cut the fat/cut to the chase/whatever, so I said OK... Except that it's written in large font with massive spaces between paragraphs, just to get it to 37... There are literally massive blank spaces throughout the entire book. Additionally, several things are repeated and this book is way longer than it needs to be for the info provided. The info in this book could be done in 3 pages (no joke).

Now lets move on to the content... This is a "business" model but it is nothing you can't easily find for free online in about ten minutes. In fact, I had already heard of this not-so-clever concept before, so I felt especially ripped off. Ultimately, I found almost no value in this book and cannot believe I spent money on it. Selling this product for anything over $3 is a ripoff and to all who received free "review" copies and left these glowing reviews, you should be ashamed.

Ultimately, this book is garbage. It was the author's attempt at a money making scheme (the book itself, not the method described). Honestly, the first page of the book should just be "GOTCHA" in big letters. For those of you who may be considering buying it, let me save you the time and money:
1. Go to stores (thrift shops, book stores, etc.)
2. Use Amazon app to scan products there
3. For the ones selling for far more on Amazon, buy them and sell them on Amazon using FBA

BAM, I just saved you 36 7/8 pages and $37

I'll tell you the same thing I told jbilyj42. He doesn't NEED you to buy his ebook on this method. I'm sure he's financial well off that he could do just fine without anybody buying it so lets get that out of the way.

Sure you could goto Google or anywhere else and find this method for free. As you could also for other things like, SEO, website creation, getting traffic, etc. Yet you have alot of BHW members selling guides on these topics as well. Yet people still buy it even though most of the information is free online. Why? Because some people would rather pay a price and have all the necessary information in one place rather than spending hours searching through website after website and watching video after video trying to piece all the information together themselves.

By the way, I only paid $17 so to me I got my money's worth in my opinion.

Your small summary of the entire method is laughable at best. There is more to it than that. But because your trying to smear the OP I'm not surprised by it.

I'm sure we're all worried because you lost credibility in the forums. I know I'll definitely loose a few hours of sleep over it tonight. :bigok:

Regarding my last question on how many fba sellers I should be concerned about. The one book that I found had two fba sellers selling it for about $3.50 each. The thrift shop was asking I think $1.50 so there wouldn't have been much profit margin there.

The only thing that concerned me while reading your guide is the wait time when it comes to selling a book. I really don't want to have to wait months for a book to sell. Now I do realize that this isn't a get rich quick scheme, but I don't see how you can turnover a profit month after month if it takes 3 months to sell one book.

Now of course not every book is going to take that long to sell. I don't mind waiting on books to sell that have a higher profit margin. But I'd also like to have some books in my inventory that I can turnover relatively quick.

How many books do you have in your inventory at any moment in time? With sales turnover for this method being quite low, are storage costs something to be concerned about? I.e. do you often create removal orders?

You're sourcing your books from Amazon itself? The price reflects the condition, so if you're buying from penny sellers then isn't a lot of your stock ex-library, covered in stamps and tattered etc?

I tend not to buy from penny sellers or buy anything online that is less than very good condition. There is no need to by books in bad condition where there are so many books in much better condition. When I buy a library book I buy it from the library so I can see the condition. Library books are often protected by a plastic cover that is easily removed which prevents the book cover from being damaged or worn. The slips of paper that the library attach to the first page are pretty easy to remove without causing much damage to the page it is attached to.

I will always list the book as ex-library in the notes and mention any wear/damage etc.

A lot of my stock isn't ex-library stuff but I do have some in there. They are, however, in pretty good condition due to what I said about library books. I have in the past bought books that were very cheap and listed as ex-library. When they arrived they were tatty and in a condition that I would not have felt comfortable selling them.
