Making money from adsense + public figures

Hello guys, I would like to share a method that I was working on since December 2016.

So I will give you the tips as simple as I can and you can twist it or do it yourself.

1. Find some new public figures with at least 1m followers across all the social networks and check if they have a website or if their website is good looking, professional (you are looking for these without websites or with super slow, not responsive designs)

2. Contact them (some will answer, some won't, just try 1-2 more times if they don't go to the next) and tell them something like this:

Hello *his/her small name*,

My name is *small name( yours or not doesn't matter)*. First I would like to note that I love your work/photos/profiles/etc. I am following you since the beginning and I think you are very good/creative/awesome/etc person. I have noticed that you don't have a website and I couldn't help myself but to ask you if you want me to make one for you FOR FREE so you can engage your fans and get a lot new followers across all the social networks. As I said the site will be free, nor I want something from you. I understand that no everyone is web designer but if we can't make a small gesture to our favorite public face what are we doing? I am very creative person and can make awesome site which you will fall in love with, however you can always give me your ideas and I will do my best to implement em in YOUR site. We can make a top 10 photos chart, trending or something else. *dont talk too much technical terms like free hosting etc etc. just give some ideas so his/her imagination can start moving in the right direction* So that's it, please let me know, I will make the site for few hours.

3. When they answer you and agree just make the website (I am using wordpress but you can twist it on different platforms), you will need few plugins:

-AUTOMATIC plugin - with this you will scrape his her Instagram/youtube pictures/videos in the website like posts
-Premium fast and responsive theme
-What's your reaction (makes the posts more fun)
-G1 Socials
-Wordpress popular posts
-Few plugins to speed up your website (smush, hummingbird/autoptimize/remove query strings from static resources/caching plugin
-Ads plugin (making it easier). I am using WP QUADS atm.

From these plugins you already have an idea what kind of site I am aiming to. I personally use Bimber theme and make most of the sites like portfolio.

After installing the plugins make sure you add terms, privacy, about, contact, declaimer pages.

4. What kind of ads to choose? It is must to avoid pop-up/pop-under. I am using 1 responsive banner after the primary navigation menu at the top + 1 responsive sticky banner in the slider of each post. You can add different networks also. The best working for me is adsense+infolinks (for infolinks I use up to 3 links in text and in tag in the footer). If you don't have adsense account or you are banned you can use other banner based ad networks(chitika for example).

5. After you make the website write to the public figure (dont write to him/er the same day, at least wait 1 day to make it look that u were doing a lot of work) and tell him/her:

Finally, after so much work, the website is ready. As we discussed I have added *this* and *this* and *this*. It looks fantastic, you have sense for such things . Now you can add the website in your bio. It is 100% automated but you can engage your fans whenever you want. If you want to change some things just hit me up. I promise you everyone will love it and your fanbase will grow a lot more *bla bla, bla bla*

That's it, just rinse and repeat as much as you can, new public faces are coming every day, just make your research and be polite and cool.

I wouldn't go as far to say somebody with millions of followers would allow some random person to create a website for them. However I would say maybe people in the range of 100k to 500k followers might go for this. People who are not necisarrily famous but just instagram, facebook or twitter famous might go for it.

Interesting idea but believe me that the people who have over +1 mil fans will never accept something like this. Most of them have a programming team

I'm not understanding the benefit of this for us. How do we make money from this, if you are not going to sell them the site after it's finished? If you're talking about the ads making you money, it's just a matter of time before they change and replace the ads themselves.

This method is best used on mom and pop like stores with no web presence. You build them a site and they pay you if/when they like it if you have enough confidence in your web design skills.

You haven't got the idea. If you will make a website for a popular guy ... he will redirect his fans from instagram / facebook / etc to your blog where you'll have adsense. You will could monetize it with his traffic.

If you actually get leads out of this, not bad. I think you'll make more money upselling design/marketing services than depending on adsense revenue. Getting a celebrity to give your web design/marketing agency a shoutout can be a very powerful thing, too.

Plus like mentioned, if you give them admin privileges they may eventually remove your ads and you'd have wasted a lot of time for nothing.

That's a HUGE assumption on your part to think that, and there's no guarantee that he/she will do that. It's not like they'll give you control of their social media accounts for you to make sure that it's done.

At best, they may give you a mention once or twice. But what good is that going to do unless we're talking about building a website for a Kim Kardashian type celebrity, which we're obviously not.

Trust me, I GET it...which is why I'm playing devil's advocate. This model is not cut and dry at all and would probably be better suited to target small business folk without web presences with this method.

I'm not saying that this method can not work at all. I'm just saying for what the OP is suggesting that there is limited upside.

Exactly my point. Getting a mention or two to an adsense blog is very limited.

Yes adsense revenue is very limited imo. But it's op's method so I wouldn't be surprised if he left out some of his secret sauce. This method has a lot of potential for twists. Such as offer them the site for free but make them buy hosting. That right there can be a nice recurring bill if you make enough websites.

That's what I was thinking but since he didn't mention that, I didn't want to assume. That's actually what I do myself on the side. I set up blogs for people for free as long as they buy hosting from one of my affiliates which pays me $150 a pop. Takes me about an hour to set blog up and I make $150. Not bad.

But using the OP's method as is, the only way I'd commit to something like this is that if me and public person agreed upon X amount of shoutouts and I'd try using that to get more followers to my social media accounts. I wouldn't even be focusing on the Adsense, at least not initially. Maybe get the "celebrity" to do a giveaway that I'll sponsor and the followers would come in pretty fast.

There was a guide around here with this method. But you need a cool way to target them, as those spama in mail aren t converting for a while. I delete 30 of those daily

10x for your replays guys, I like how you twist the method, there are a lot of ways indeed.

I want to clarify few things:

1. The public figure doesnt have 1 m followers (on instagram alone for example). She/He has 400k instagrams, 280k twitters, 340k facebook etc..

2. By public figure I dont really mean celebrity or semi/very famous person but one with large base of fans - you have to find the one that has a lot of fans but isnt taking this base seriously enough for example and jsut slaging around on autopilot with whatever he is doing.

3. When I make the website, you shouldn't rely on their shouts - they should add the website in their BIO permanently, as the website is for them, you have implemented their ideas in this website, there is no reason why one wouldnt do so if you have done what they want with the site.

4. Adding adsense is profitable enough for such large fan base. The beauty of this method is that its super scalable with more and more sites. You can make some SEO and drive even more traffic to the websites but lets say you don't. His/her fans will still visit this site and when you set everything the site is on complete autopiolot. Thats why I like the portfolio theme much more, add couple of features to all these pictures that are scraping in the website like top 10 (for example - which is top 10 gosplay picture, which the community will choose), which fb, instagram doesnt have as feature and you have created this especially for him, for his fans. Hell I would even make QUIZs etz.. Sure you can squiz the cow even more( free hosting, shouts etc etc..)

5. I cant show you example as one can be spammed for websites to the 7th hell. But my biggest hit by far is a girl with interesting talent that has over 2.5m followers all over the social media (900k+ in instagram alone) and I have 1190 unique visits + 5480 page views per day (average)
