Facebook Page Engagement

Is anyone here actually getting decent engagement from Facebook Page posts without boosting? Because I grew my page to 1.3k followers using FB Ads and the reach is almost not existent. So I am just wondering if it is even worth investing in. What good are Facebook followers if you can't even reach them?

Engagement on my page is great, about 7% but reach is the problem that we're all facing. My reach is 1-2% on 280k page

1. 1.3k followers is nothing on facebook. You will reach 10-20% of your fans on a good post. That's 100-200 people that will see your post, not click, just see.
2. you have to post engaging content people want to see. Regardless of the amount of fans you have if your initial reached fans don't engage, the rest will never see it, and that is just to reach those 200 people.

Yes, people are getting engagement without boosting, you're still 98.7k away from that remotely mattering though.

Thanks for the reply, just to be clear the Facebook page I am taking as an example is a comedy page with engaging content its not like I am trying to sell people stuff out the gate. I am growing a page on Instagram for this page simultaneously, so my content is handpicked and it should perform and it does on Instagram. But if I make a post on a Facebook Page with 1.3k followers and I only reach 3 people and one of those 3 people is me, I must say I am bit skeptical if it is even worth investing in. I mean Ive heard that the engagement on Facebook is not as good as on Instagram, and I might be a little bit spoiled by Instagram getting 10%+ engagement on my big pages.... But again 3 people reached? Really?

I see page like Pakalu Papito, he has 4m followers. Some of his posts have 4m views and then others have 365 likes. Which make me wonder, is he boosting almost everything?

And Ive done my research and people say that a lot of their engagement comes from the shares and not from their actual followers. So if thats the case, then what is the role the Facebook Page has? Why not go straight to Facebook ads and skip the page if the way to reach your followers is to run Facebook Ads again on them by boosting the post.

One tweak.. Join most active groups of your niche.. Then share your pics which are posted on the page to those groups .. That will increase post reach as well as likes to your page.. Now invite the people to like your page those who have e liked the page post but not the page..

This is what I personally do.. Hope it will work for you too.

One tweak.. Join most active groups of your niche.. Then share your pics which are posted on the page to those groups .. That will increase post reach as well as likes to your page.. Now invite the people to like your page those who have e liked the page post but not the page..

Sometimes more sometime less likes per post. I have a niche that has potential to go very viral Just give your fans good content, promote the right ads, be the best in your niche, and blog outreach. That is all I have done with this fanpage. When I monetize, my fans have trust and I get rewarded for it. There are no short cuts unless you want to churn and burn... I'm doing this as a real business!
