I tried it with wordpress and registered 1 blog with PA 30, but after I finished the registration it turned to PA 1. Is this normal?

I'm turning one of them into a parasite. With it having a great PA it's already got a nice boost and the domain name is spot on for a medium competition keyword with a healthy number of monthly searches.
