I see some people offering services such as link building and others saying they will get you published on high DA sites such as forbes, business insider, and so forth.

Are these worth doing for the prices?

How long is a piece of string?

Whether any particular service is worth the time or money depends on the kind of results you get from it, right? So unless you try them, you won't know yourself........Otherwise, read the testimonials in the threads, if you want to know the experience of other people.

No, unless you are working on a long term white hat project.

Or have money to blow.

If I were you, I would prefer to work on link building manually from scratch.
Yes, It's lengthy and will take more time and efforts, but by time your site will get a good SEO juice for better rankings.

I have tried 2 link building services in the past 3 years , both companies were from india one charged 100 $ per month and the other charged 200$ permonth

My Testimonial 100$/month link building service

100$ Link ninja

although he was cheap , less responsive, never provided monthly reports, did not promise me results (which I learnt the hard way that no professional will promise you 1st page ) , he knew what he was doing , link building, web 2.0 , diversification, directories, social signals etc etc etc

He had me on top page in 6 months postion 3 . We stopped working together after a few months because I got my results , I learnt SEO and started my own campaigns. It worked out very well.
Since I was scared to put all my eggs in one basket I made a decision to make one more money site and the plan was to manually build links on my 1st money site and the new money site I would hire another link ninja.

My Testimonial 200$/month Link building service

Since I had tried a cheap service in the start of my business and gained excellent results, I decided to up the stakes , trying another link ninja for 200$/month(I should have stuck to the 1st seo guy).
This guy was a professional in everything but SEO , he provided me with weekly results on various SE, called to check if i needed something, suggested me changes on my website, did my onpage SEO for a 1 time 75 $ ,
i stayed with him 1 year I never got close to the 1st page , 1st position would be too much to ask of him, since then getting exhausted I fired him and started doing SEO for both sites myself.
So as my fellow forum friend
SERPTurbo mentioned you dont know what a service is worth until you try it, I hope i got your name right buddy.

Hi @tripphxc,
Do you have a good website with quality contents but still struggle to rank and gain traffic? If so, then there's no harm in trying those services.

My opinion may be skewed but you will never be sure for yourself without trying.

Depends on your site, on your objectives and your budget.

I'm in the process of doing manual link building/outsourcing. It cost more but I know what I'm buying and I know its a lot higher quality.

Quality over quantity is the way to go for SEO!

Link building just for long looooooong term. Otherwise you better buy links. Works for me since 2013.

best stratigie for up and down any site hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
bancheee of losers please don't buy

If you never built links manually or have the foreknowledge of it all. I would recommend avoiding it.

From my past experience of starting out, I burned a couple sites to the ground from my own lack of knowledge (still learning every day).

But from what i can say from some good experiences, take your time and really analyze the service your looking at. Look at their pitches and read what people have to say about their service.

No BL service can really guarantee you that 1st position, but they can help save time if you have the coin. And trust your gut as well.

Just my two cents.

yes its good if you have large business realted site and you want to stick with this domain for long term.

It will be useful if you have business related websites which will stand for an extended period. I recommend using those links. But don't expect something miracle will happen in SERP within one or week after two days.

to rank your page linkbuilding is very important and if they are from HQ PR, DA, TF, CF then its the best.

No, unlessNo, unless

WTF is this ?

OP,

There are SEO services and there are seo services.
Some are good, some are great and many you need to avoid.
Just because there is a fancy , colourful sales page doesn't mean the service is any good.

Sometimes it's the quiet ones you should watch out for.

I was offered BlogHer and 3 other sites, articles included for $50 each all do-follow.
I see similar sellers charging that price with a 0 on the end.
There's a huge difference between making a profit and profiteering.

It depends on seo services you use. The truth is, mose cheap seo services offered at BHW are worthless. Only a few services that I used here provided good results. Some services have even removed links after I unsubscribed from them.
