you have a pretty good list

you can add Ning, friendster, webs.com, multiply and mylot

That is a pretty good list. I use many of the sites you listed. One more that I also use is blogspot.com. The home page is a PR8 so Google must think it's pretty good. Plus I get some decent traffic from it.

love that u shared the list but i dont do this yet can some one tell me how to make use of them?

Hi Jdmeg6,

Link Wheels as with everything SEO related is one of those things that almost definitely work, it just depends on how many spokes are used and the amount of SE exposure these pages get.

If you only do a 4 spoke wheel and try to rank for google or viagra you will have a tough time and more than likely will not see any gain from it.

Also I feel like this 'new' phenomenom of a link wheel is a bit misleading, the act of having links pushed to your money sites whilst simultaneously driving links to your link pages is nothing new just that now it has a catchy tag line that people are all over :)

If you can find a way to create link wheels quicker / semi-automated they are definitely worth while.

I'm doubtful this works, but I've never tried it. Getting linked from a orphan page of an authority site generally does nothing for your rankings. Otherwise, my wordpress blog wouldn't get 2 hits a day despite having over 100 pages of hand written content :p Now if my wordpress blog were LINKED from wordpress.com that would b pretty sweet. Ranking for 3 KW query that gets no traffic isn't so great, either.

They should think they are pretty good since Google owns it

some people will always be negative about anything that comes up and in this case, the famous wheel. Try it out and you will see the benefit.
TRY AND FAIL BUT NEVER FAIL TO TRY!!

There's a thread here (forget title) that list a number of high PR pages that Do pass high rank over to your url, that are suitable for linkwheels. Site like happy news, fannation, Google earth forum, abcnews.go and others. Also remember that a high ranking page even if achieved is not neccessarily high traffic one.
