I live in a non-US country, specifically speaking, i live in pakistan. Are there any country restrictions when it comes to working with amazon? can i start with amazon affiliate sites while in pakistan and target the US audience? if not, how do i counter this problem? should i use a vps, a proxy? or what should i learn in order to effectively hide my location and work as an affiliate? I do have a friend in america though, any tips on how to use him for this?

You'll need to look at a payment option if you're not wanting your commissions adding to your .com account balance.

dont mean to hijack the thread but maybe it will help OP aswell. Say youre signed up with .com and you get some traffic from UK that goes to a product . Do you need to be signed up with UK aswell for the commission to count?

Yes you can be a amazon.com affilate. No restrictions.
Thank you for the reply! but i think i saw somewhere over here on bhw that, if you want to target more than 1 country, you have to sign up FOR that county each and every time, like for the US affiliate partnership, i have to sign up seprately and for the UK affiliate partnership, i have to sign up seprately, and i also remember there was some kind of plugin to overcome that problem, would this all pose as a problem to me?

Thanks for your reply! much appreciated. I was thinking of using my friends paypal over there at america. OR, i was thinking of buying a paypal stealth account from some sellers and either convert the money to bitcoin, or transfer the money to my friends account who would then send it to me via western union or any such payment service. do you think thats fine?

Yes you need to also create an amazon uk account for that. Also you need to have a link localizer, plugins are available if your using wordpress.

and would this all cause a problem if i'm NOT living in the UK and living in pakistan?

Does Payoneer offer US account in Pakistan? (It does in India.) If yes, use your Payoneer US account to receive commissions from Amazon and Payoneer automatically transfers the amount to your local bank. I'm successfully receiving commissions through Payoneer here in India.

And no, It doesn't matter where you live. The only thing that matters is sales. So, you should target US traffic for .COM, UK traffic for .co.UK etc.
