Beginner Amazon Niche Journey to $100/day

Looking good! Did you do any new link building in the last few months or is the traffic increase from content alone?

Thank you! Yes I have done lots of link building actually. I've got a handful of PBNs pointing to each of my sites categories, which has helped significantly. I've just started this month building my own 20 PBN network which will be used for this affiliate site and a brand new one I have started, due to the starting success of this website :)

Other than link building I've done a shit tonne of reviewing my articles and website theme, which I changed, and also actually got a IFTTT ring going on which might have some help in boosting my article authority.

Good luck with your journey

Thank you mate :)

Hey mate, what you need to do is find the type of product you want to sell. For example, if you were looking for toasters or kettles, search in Amazon and you will find a TONNE of different brands and models etc etc. Now you need to do keyword research and find out what your main keywords would be. E.g. "best bread toasters" or "best waffle machines" will be a high search volume keyword. You need to then look at the top 10 competition and see if the top 10 websites have that keyword in their URL/Title/Meta and any on-page H1/H2/H3 tags (this is where Long Tail Pro helps).

Once you have a few keywords, such as "best waffle makers", "waffle maker reviews" and "waffle maker recipes" you then create those as categories on your site and write reviews for each brand/model under the reviews section, then recipes under the obvious section related, plus informational articles in the "best waffle makers" section such as "best waffle makers of 2015", "how to clean your waffle maker" etc etc.

Does that make sense? :)
Great info.

would like to learn how you did this if i can also do this amazing way if earning or not ?

I MADE $45!! IN JUST 30 DAYS ALONE. This is exciting for me, my hard work is paying off.

I am glad you haven't kicked the bucket yet
altho, let's be complete honest, majority of the people probably already slit their wrist and gave up within a month and made a thread saying THIS SHIT DOESN'T WORK
Very good and ill be subscribing to your journey :)

You mentioned Web2.0s as ur PBNs?
are u using the same type of web2.0s but different providers
for e.g
xxx1.web20.com
xxx2.web20.com
xxx3.web20.com etc
or
xxx.web20.com
xxx.aiofaa.com
xxx.agijaga.com etc
just curious

Great update. I'm glad to see an honest person who is telling a real account of how Amazon affiliate links might not make $100/day right out the gate, even with great content and proper research.

You're making some tremendous growth in 2017 though; I'm excited to see where you'e headed with this one.

As mentioned above fantastic to see someone not kicking the can, and reporting honestly. I havent started any form of Affiliate marketing program, while reading into alot of threads im finding its actually quite difficult, if your new to it. E-commerce is crazy as is, i mean i produce products and try to sell online and its a never ending tale of creative new approaches to make the gears turn.

This my be a silly question, are you capturing emails and sending mail campaigns out?

Good Luck with your journey:)

It's nothing special! Honestly, it is just a nice looking site, no logo, just a nice Genesis theme and the content is 100% good quality which I paid $10 per article, for 1,000 words.

Thank you :) Yes I purchased a Web 2.0 network for my website, targeting my primary keywords, the exact service I used was a Web 2.0 Link Pyramid, so a handful on Web 2.0 profiles with my keywords and then GSA + socials to them giving them more authority.

Thanks mrvincevega, I am glad that everyone is happy I am being really honest and open about my earnings and struggles. I knew it wasn't going to be instant cash, but I was always hoping it would be :) but now that I've found the golden key, CONTENT!, I am ranking !

Thank you man :) Yes, it is extremely difficult if you're new to it! It takes a lot of research and knowing how to build your site effectively. God it is hard. I talked to LOTS of people, got their views and then built my website. It probably took me a month just to plan the layout and content for my site. Plus finding a good niche as well, can be very hard. Mine is an evergreen niche so hopefully I can keep earning from this once it ranks :)

I did have email campaign initially, but since scrapped it. I might bring it back end of this month if my sales persist and since I have much more unique visitors to my website now.

It woukd be interesting to see your capabilities to sell more via new email campaigns, from my understanding. emails were the thing a while ago, then their importance slowed down and now with Html2 integrated into most email providers it has been resurrected. you can literally buy a product from an email now if you have the correct coding. I havent done this yet and dont have the email database yet to properly implement but might be work a bit of research just to clarify new techniques.

That's a great point. Tell you what, this weekend I will tweak my current campaign, and put a sign up on my website again :)

It's nice to see that you took action and really work on your journey. Don't get discouraged by the apparently "weak" results in the beginning, as usually earnings increase exponentially, not linear with websites like this, so once the websites gets more authority in google, you will see better and faster results.

March, 2017 - Progress Update

So February was a really breakthrough month for me so far! And this month just got even better :) I had 25 ordered items from Amazon in February, this month I had 76! That's a 304% increase over the previous month. Can you get any better than that for a newish affiliate site?

Let's take a look at the traffic and earnings for this month.

Google Analytics

Overall the traffic was really good, as you can see it did decline however. This is mostly due to the fact I changed a lot of internal navigation structure and silo's for the site. I broadened my categories so that I can expand into a authority site instead of sticking to a single sub niche. This is my end goal for the site.

Amazon Earnings

This month I made $92.92! Compared to $39.67 in February, that's over a 200% increase which I am more than happy with. So far I am really impressed with the earnings for this year already!

Looking at my MailChimp account, I also had 3 more people register for my weekly update newsletter which is great progress. I now had 8, up from 5.

@mickyvx this is awesome to see, well done :). what exactly did you change? was it the article/ blogs keywords? im curious now.

Hey mate :) Basically I changed the site categories and shifted articles into their appropriate new categories. I did a 301 redirect of the old categories to the new ones, but some new categories now have 0 PBN links or more than they used to. I tried to keep it as relevant as possible however.
