Which Youtube video editor is the best?

this is how I work with my videos... I shoot them with blackmagic cinema camera and the footage allows heavy editing:

software I use the most (sometimes more):
1) Premiere Pro
2) Audition
3) Davinci Resolve
4) Handbrake

Excellent pipeline.

For a moderate beginner to intermediate video editor I would suggest an alternative pipeline:

1) Premiere Pro / Sony Vegas
--I always say that unless it's a quick project, you should try to learn the hardest thing. Invest in it!
2) Audacity
--Audition is fantastic. But, audacity can do quite a lot. And...it's free! A lot of your sound editing can be done here. Personally, I use Ableton to edit sound, but that's a whole other monster.

That's it.

If you are using your own video footage, you should look into Davinci Resolve (also free), or YouTube videos on color correcting in Premiere Pro.

If you want to do special effects, cool intros/outros, get After Effects. It's a tough one, but there are tuts on YouTube on just about anything, and if you combine knowledge from different tuts, you'll be able to do almost anything!

Happy editing!

I recomment Adobe Premiere Pro!! It has a learning curve, but is by far the most powerful and quickest software I've used

what are people using to make top 10 youtube videos? whats the easiest way to do that?

I'm using Videopad right now because supported 32-bit windows and its pretty easy to use

I always used Sony vegas and have to say it is the all round quick efficient and best editor for me but its something you have to learn I definitely guarantee it tho.. thousands of youtube tutorials for it

Filmora if you're new to video editing. Basically camstasia, but I find it to have a better performance.

What tool can quickly download specific parts of an existing video on youtube specified by start and end time?

Yup! The best editors, but pretty hard to use, HandBrake is so great, I used it before to put Subtitles on films :3
