Can You Do This Trick With Wordpress

I was reading the news and noticed the last G ad in the sidebar stayed in view when scrolling down the page and then disappears when you get to the bottom.
Any Idea how this is done?

Why not. It's called 'On scroll event" .Detecting your mousewheel with onscroll javascript function.
You add this JavaScript to php(wordpress) and use it there.
