Creating Private Facebook group VS. Public Group

Hi. I created a few groups. And as far as I know when you reach 5000 members you can't change group privacy. Which is a very important thing. And if only one admin is posting on that group... So i've been wondering which group posts are better reaching members? Maybe someone also has this dillema?

Depends on what you want to achieve,.

But I will start with a public group, get some traction and engagement.

And then create a PRIVATE one and offer the Invitation as a reward for the active users of the public group. Because a private group will always be more restricted and smaller than a public one.

Try to think of Facebook groups as marketing and sales funnels.
