nsfw with adsense

Im a little confused about this. Is adsense allowed on websites with nsfw non porn non nude content?
Content that you may find on youtube for example? As far as I have read its supposed to be family safe but then websites like 9gag use adsense and they have a whole section dedicated to nsfw?

If not any other ad networks that work for similar content?

Any help would be appreciated

No, Adsense is a family-safe network. This means that if you wouldn't view the site in front of your family (unless you belong to one of those weird families where everyone is a little too comfortable with each other), you can't have Adsense on it.

Thanks for the reply though the hypocrisy of adsense is mind boggling and the pick and choose attitude too. I have come across plenty of large nsfw websites using adsense and none get a ban. Ill look into juicyads.

Oh man, I know what you mean. I've come across so many websites that violate the Adsense TOS, yet nothing ever happens to them.

I think if you have a large enough website they just let you get away with it because end of the day if its nonPorn and nsfw for example 9gag theres alot of potential customers on it. So yeh its just hypocrisy. Its our fault end of the day we all have played a part putting the company on the pedestal but got to live with it.

I always thought that after you get approved for Adsense, if you wanted to add your Adsense ads to another website, that new website would need to go through the approval process as well. But I guess that's not the case.

I always thought that after you get approved for Adsense, if you wanted to add your Adsense ads to another website, that new website would need to go through the approval process as well. But I guess that's not the case.

No, once approved you're good to go. I've even given my code to others to add to their website. You just have to notify big G of the website in your dashboard

No, in your adsense dashboard: Settings > my sites > +
I seem to recall that if you just paste your code on the website without adding it here, Google will notify you you won't get paid for any clicks

With the amount of traffic they get 9gag are more than likely premium publishers with Adsense so can therefore negotiate their own terms.
