Why my site is showing https: in search results

I am sure that I have not bought any SSL certificate. Now , when I click on my site it says the owner of the site has miss configured it.

What should I do to get rid of this.

Check with your host, they may have provided an SSL free while signing up, many hosts do that. There is no other reason it should show up.

and then why that configuration error , should I add https in wmt

I assume you're seeing that red colored https where its shows a security warning. If thats the case, you might have to fix that from webmaster tools

are you using cloudflare ?
They hand out free SSL aswell.
You can disable it in cloudflare's settings if u are using CF

Just check if you have enabled SSL under cloudflare. You can disable from cpanel

Run a website report, for that your will get lots of tools, to get all the links hanged on your site and look to see if you have linked any https instead of http. If you have some, you have to fix them.

I have a htaccess script to redirect https to http but I'm on mobile... google has been doing this a lot lately, quite annoying.

I'm about do do the same with most of my sites without even checking the issue.

It's G and WHM/CPanel Auto SSL both fault for this, it's not a linking problem I can assure you... What happens is that G goes and tests site if it's using https and/or http just randomly, like it tests for m. version of a site and then at one point WHM update rolled out that enabled this sort-of-by-default and really lot of websites on the WWW have been hit by this.

I think yes, that is the exact issue, so should fetch all http pages as https
