Can Registrars shut down your domain?

I know that your webhost can shut down your website if you break their terms & conditions or whatever.... But what about registrars? Is that something that happens?
 
yes it can happen, but not common unless you are doing something very aggressive.
 
Yes they definitely can and it doesn't necessarily take much. Most companies don't like getting complaints so usually if it does happen its from someone claiming you are doing something shady
 
Is there any registrar that ignores complaints?
 
They created the domain for you in the first place, so it will be very easy for them to shut down your domain. Have you forgotten the saying that destroying things is easy but creating them is complex.
 
Yes they cannand they will if there will be even a slight indication that their company could be hold reaponsible for you domain (trademarks, IPs etc.)
