Make One Gmail Into Thousands (no time or effort)

I considered not sharing this. I really never was able to keep a secret. Oh well...

On sites where you find the (ahm) need to register with multiple accounts, but don't want to buy/make gmail accounts, try this:

1. Get one gmail account. Yeah. One.

Gmail has this 'feature' where they have "spam" filters. You can 'enable' a spam filter by making your email address this [email protected]

The cool thing is that most sites count these as separate email addresses.

So if my email was [email protected]

I would just register a bunch of accounts with:

[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

See? Security these days.

no need to set anything up. works like that by default.

Same thing works with putting a period in your gmail like. [email protected] can be [email protected] etc...

ok, to summarize and to add...

1. you can append a "+string" to your gmail username
2. you can prepend, insert, or append unlimited number of periods into your username
3. you can use @gmail.com and @googlemail.com synonymously.

So, for [email protected] you can use:

[email protected]
[email protected]

etc...

not much new here, its all documented in gmail help.
