I'm not very experienced in this but I'm looking for an UNDETECTABLE static proxy/VPN/VPS to access certain sites. Is there even such a thing or will everything be detected by modern detection technologies? Would VPN be better than proxy? Why?

Also I'm currently connecting to the proxy by editing proxy settings in chrome, would that make a difference in detectability?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

What do you mean by 'undetectable'? If you mean they won't reveal your IP, pretty much all proxies and VPNs are undetectable in this sense. Granted your browser doesn't leak the real IP through flash or webrtc.
If you want to hide the fact you are using proxy/vpn, then there's no alternative to using residential IPs. It's a long topic to explain in two words, you can learn more about them from here

By undetectable I mean that they won't detect that I'm using a proxy/vpn/vps.
Thanks, I will look into residential proxies
