There is an app on the app store called Raffler.

It is basically a raffle/app where people will watch two 30 second adverts which enters them into a draw to win $1000 everyday? They say their is a guaranteed winner every single day winning $1000.

Does anyone with knowledge on CPM rates know how this would be possible to generate such money? and which company would pay such CPM Rates?

I read on an article the app (People entering the raffle) has around 100,000 users a day. So, this means the CPM Rates would have to be around $13, which doesn't sound realistic?

Thanks,

if I say you can pay me $1000 and win 1000000 would you trust me?

just because it's written on an app, doesn't mean it's true

Let me take a stab at this( I could be wrong though)

An average rewarded video ad that's fully played earns around $50-$200 CPM

We'll go with a very conservative earning per view of $50 per 1000 full views

This app probably has a million users(maybe more) and claims it has 100,000 DAILY USERS.

So we take 100,000 users watching 2 ads a day and it pays the app developer around $0.05 per view($50/1000 views)

100,000 users x $0.05 x 2 ad views per user= $10,000 revenue per day

So out of $10,000 revenue, they pay a daily winner $1000.

I could be wrong about the rates of CPM since I haven't used rewarded ads much. This is my guess.

Well if the CPM rates are that high, that would completely make sense how they are able to give away such money each day.

Thanks for the help.

Nice app, gotta say it's really smart. Well, the mostly earn by video ads and also by their raffles with a free samsung s7 for example at 0.5 pounds - with a minimum of 1400 tickets sold - which basically covers the price of the phone and their profits.

CPM is really that high for reward videos?

Yeah it is possible because they don't pay out.

Not for general apps/games. You'd have to do direct deals with networks and advertisers for these sorts of CPM rates. This Raffle app has the credibility and user base that networks and advertisers dream about, hence in this case, the network would be willing to give larger CPM rates due to higher conversion rates/consistent new users viewing ads

Which network is giving $50 per 1000 views?
Chartboost for example(Casino ads, AAA games, etc) but only because this particular app does direct deals with the advertisers and the network(due to high conversions and new viewers)

This is a rare case, and for most games/apps, you should see maybe $10 CPM rates for video ads.

I've seen a few app marketers with large users and high retention games doing $100 CPM, I've even gotten CPM rates at $500 for a day only to die down back to average rates because the networks realize my app doesn't convert and doesn't target the right users.

Let me blow up your imaginations white facts...

1) Real Raffles & Free Lottery ASO analyzation

Installs
10,000 - 50,000
By install count I can say that I even not look in like this app because it is pathetic...

Reviews
120 total reviews 3.8 score
5 stars 67x
1 star 19
By this number I can say that they are not buying reviews and it is basically 40% off negative reviews. So it is something somewhere wrong, or it is design, or it is slow, or it is scam.

So let's look in negative reviews in asodesk

Rediculous
EN Kirsty Finnerty Jul 27, 2016

I have read most comments about people winning the first time they played it, so i downloaded this i am not a idiot and understand its a raffal but i am very dissapointed as i have brought over 90+ tickets and havent won a thing, then this morning i was under the impression i had won i rite a review and then nothing happened and it had showed me i hadnt won. I am very dissapointed and dont reccomend anyone play this app.

ASO
First review EN Petar Limonov Jun 1, 2016, so app is about one years old and they got only 10,000 - 50,000 installs in one year, this really sucks...

Buy appleannie tool this app is not ranked by any country because it is not popular, search man cannot find this app...
Top 6 Keywords:
raffler - rank 1
charity raffle - rank 2
megayacht - rank 33 ▼2
tombola rank 52 ▲9
розыгрыш призов - 60 ▼1
win tickets - 64 ▲5

So ASO keyword analyzation white sensortower.
raffler - Traffic:Calculating... (Calculating means that there is no search by this keyword...)
charity raffle - Traffic:Calculating...
megayacht -Traffic:Calculating...
tombola - Traffic: 3.7 (So this means that it is searched about by 3700 people in day.) but app is in 52 place by this keyword so it gets not much of traffic from this keyword...
розыгрыш призов -Traffic:Calculating...
win tickets - -Traffic: 3.0

So this explains why this app sucks, they target wrong keywords... Bad ASO.

You can check other here https://www.appannie.com/apps/googl...ce=&start_date=2017-03-16&end_date=2017-06-13

Mobile to action tool shows that app hits only 4 from 100 score...
https://www.mobileaction.co/app/android/us/real-raffles-free-lottery/com.raffall.raffall

Similarweb Top country UK #35,025 place by all apps, really low... By Category: Lifestyle #1,185, as well really low...
https://www.similarweb.com/app/google-play/com.raffall.raffall/statistics

About ios I will not talk because there is even worse stats... But maybe they are getting a lot traffic from SEO to website? I checked this and it not like this...

Website

Alexa: Global Rank
globe-sm.d0f76e3d37b3db1f5de9a369b65ac33c.jpg
6,006,445
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/raffall.com#trafficstats

Similarweb:
Global Rank Worldwide #7,458,942
Country Rank

United Kingdom
#1,497,315
https://www.similarweb.com/website/raffall.com

So they are really suck because they are not getting traffic, so it is scam.

Thanks,
Idea seemed nice..

If this is legitimate, how do you suppose they started this app? I don't imagine they had these sorts of payouts from advertisers without a user base, and wouldn't have a user base without a payout.
