Need objective opinion if my progress is decent or not !!

Hi fellas,

So i have a website, started it somewere in 2015 but after a few months after some personal problems the server and website went into statis (offline)for over 12 months. Rankings dropped like a rock ofc, but i have now started the website back up. Same domain, new design and some other improvement, and also started to post content every day.

I have attached a few pictures of my analytics and ahrefs, what i am wondering about is if this progress is decent or below average. Traffic is picking up and its starting to rank for alot of keywords each day, the traffic is increasing steadly but its not the increase i was hoping for.



I have bought a few SEO packs from BHW(just a few days ago, dont think that is giving benefits this fast..might in a few weeks...seo campains are not delivered yet ), to give it a jolt of link juice, but i am also building links to the website pages/post using GSA SER with SERengine + a premium list that is sorted to a minium of 15 da/pa and OBL no more then 100. I am building close to a few hundred web2.0 + other articles and etc etc

But i find it odd that alot of my affilaite pages/post are ranking and bringing in alot of the traffic, these post and pages are in most cases below 300 words and with a few pictures and a buy button(affiliate link)

I would think that the main post that are 2000-4000 word long would rank better, these post are also increaing in rank .But the affiliate products are whopping ass, not that i am complaining as it bring in cash.But i find this quite weird, at this pace i will soon on first page and do better then amazon for some products.....just weird....is this just a temporary fluke or some google update that is giving affiliate pages some love ??


Any insight on the progress so far in the timeframe (2 months) and any info about why the affiliate post and pages are ranking better would be interesting to know. Would love to hear your guys insight in this ??

And if this is average and below average results, should i crank up GSA up a few notches or just keep doing what i am doing ! ! !

I would leave it as is for now and don't push to hard with back links. Give it time and build up slowly. Quite good to see something like this happened... In the meanwhile, have you dropped domain, or it was registered whole time?

Just curious, when you did redesign, have you left your previous URL structure? Also, you've had rankings prior to this server-going-offline situation?

Also, leave GSA for T2 or T3 or T5...

So basicly stay steady with GSA, i am building Tier 1 to my site, i am pretty picky with the platforms and quality content for TIER 1...so fingers crossed..not burned on this before.Done this a different site some time ago without any penalties. Then i use T2 and T3 to boost those TIER 1 links But ill def be carefull with GSA, it can quickly screw on up fast lol

The domain was fresh when i first started the website, i actualy bought the website from a person for 200 usd in earlt 2015...at that time the website was pretty crapp and litle content. In 2015 i did a full redesign and was doing pretty good then website went offline for 12 months,the domain was still registered and not dropped. So right now in January i started it back up and bought a pretty decent theme and installed it, but did quite abit of custom design and modifications to it...heard something about google like that. The website did have ranking yes before the drop. I was ranking some really nice keywords, that keyword if i can rank for it again would be a gold mine.As the searches pr month have gone up alot, it was 2-4k searches pr month...now in 2017 its 140k. I know what website is ranking for it, but ill be damned if i let him keep it heheh

I tried to keep the same URL structure, but some URL changes were made like categories and etc, did get a few 404 errors but redirected 301 these links to the new post or some other pages. Some of the backlinks were pretty decent, so did not want to loose that link juice, so did a simple 301 to boost other post.

I am pretty excited to see if these few seo packages will have a good effect on a few pages that are targeting some high volume keywords, on of the packages is 36 PBN links.
PBN seems to work pretty well based on what i hear around in the forums, so giving it a try.

Trying to contact a few similer websites in the nitch to get a few guest post, but i got better luck winning the lottery. hehe They dont like competition i guess or they think my website is not worth it lol

I remember once i 2015 when i posted something on reddit and the shit went viral and i had close to 1200-2000 vistors on the website on any given time for almost 12 hours, server had a hard time keeping up with the traffic. Never did manage to reproduce it, but ill will give reddit a try again, could get fun

If you keep pushing whatever it is you're doing there, constantly, without getting nuked, you're gonna see some decent money in a few months IMO.

Thanks m8, currently just seeing pennies from the affiliate sales, the buggers are buying the low cost items hehe Total for this month is 120 usd, it covers the dedi serve cost and leaves some for my Coca Cola drinking But lets hope you are right, if just rank for a few high volume keywords thing would be great..but still a long way to go yet.

Do you guys have any opinion about using some expired domains with good metrics, i found this one domain with 130k backlinks, and a few good backlinks from sites like engadget.com The domain is in the main nich as i am, but not sure how smart it is to 301 it to my domain.

Or is it a better idea to write a good article on the domain , and just a anchor text back to my site, kinda off a mini PBN...or is not worth the hassle since its only
1 domain.The ahref metrics when it comes to URI and domain DRI are a few notches better then my own.

There is alot of mixed suggestions online, some swear by it and some just avoid it like the plauge !

Looks good so far. If most of the pages are below 300 words, expanding the content certainly would make them rank even better. Don't underestimate the power of content, links are needed, but loads of good content make it much easier. Ahrefs DR isn't reliable, but 41 with 228 RD (together with what your are writing about the new links you are building) is telling me you should stop and focus on stronger/higher quality links instead of sheer numbers.
