How much Traffic should a 3M FB page should generate

Hi,

How much traffic for a single relevant post on a 3 Million FB page can generate?

Considering all the likes are organic and 70,000 people talking about the site

Any ideas?

Check if he is getting good engagement on the previous posts.. Also the page should be related to your niche.. Of you share your recepie tips on a gadget related page, definitely it won't give you expected visitors so it should be relevant.

Also when you share your link on that page, edit the title, image and description and make it very catchy of possible use native language of the page audience for better performance. If I would do this in India, I use Hindi language for better engagement.

See how many likes & shares they get on their links and assume how much traffic you will get

Your welcome. Like everyone said though it's hard to determine.

I'll give you one way of attempting to estimate though. Look at the past 30 posts on the page, jot down each statistic that you are interested in and find the average of said posts.

That is pretty much the only knowledge you can get..

Traffic from FB page completely depends on the audience engagement. And in audience engagement the most important factor is Shares. If the page is receiving consistent high shares on their posts, you will get a high reach and will generate more traffic. Like & comments on the post play a role in getting high reach but not as important as Shares. I have a page of 1.2 Mn top US/UK audience and highly engaged audience. I generate around 30-40K traffic from a single post. (Note: The page is not open for any deals and page link will not be shared)

On the other hand, I see pages with more than 2 Mn likes but not many shares on their regular posts and generate less than 10K traffic from single post.

Going forward if you happen to go in any deal with FB pages, make sure you check on the previous posts for Shares. Higher and consistent the shared more the traffic you will be able to generate.

However, you have already made a deal but in future, post an article or a post or something related to the niche on the page before hand (if page allows so) and see the likes and comments you receive on post; given that post is really based on the niche of the page. If you think that enough likes and comments are there then you can proceed for a sponsored post there.
