Hey :)

I see on some youtube videos about marketing products online is that you should when creating a facebook advert let the traffic go to the fanpage, but isn't it better to let the traffic go directly to the product page on the webshop?

If 10% of those see the advert click on it, and then only 10% click on the link on the fanpage (this is the link to the product), then only 1% get to the product page ... Isn't it better to send all the traffic to the product page where the user can buy and checkout?

Can it have somehting to do with traffic to fanpage can go viral?

(sorry, if you see in my profile that I have been here many years and is still a noob in internet marketing, I try to be humble and think I have lot to learn.)

yes i think it actually depends about your intent. there are two ways you can promote on facebook (maybe more ways but for these specific example i would say 2)

the fist is to grow you fanpage posting "good" contents without promoting ads for a while until you have a certain amount of likes ( >1000), this requires more time but, at long term, it's the more effective and profitable; you want in this case promote your page and not teh ads. after a lot of people follow you then post the ads so that the people (who know who you are so get high conversion rate) click on it.

the second way is to create a fanpage and start promoting almost immediately, in this case you should promote the offers itself and not the fanpage.

i hope i've helped you and sorry for my bad english

Hey, sorry for going off topic in advance!
I've been reading BHW for a few years now but never asked questions. Now I can't figure out how to start a new topic lol.

Either way, I am looking to buy some accounts with hight level for Facebook Places Editor. Any suggestions? :P
