that hasn't worked in a long time to trick instagram and can cause a phone verification to be triggered (not an issue if you only do it on a few accounts but on more it can be)

Its not OK, try putting your legit blog on 10 profiles and let those profile do follow n unfollow, either your profiles will be banned or your domain will be Marked as spam

be careful with link shorteners, i heard someone got recently ghost banned with their main account for having a short link to a legit website no CPA or anything

From what I know if it's a legit website and have a proper domain, it's fine. Don't put your URL in case the domain names are howtoget100milliondollars.blogspot.com or howtogetlaid.wordpress.com. Despite of all, you're the one who know if your website is legit or not.

If you can't post your ecommerce website or personal blog, what's the point of website section in Instagram then? I personally don't have any personal website so I don't put any link in my Instagram, I just put my soundcloud link there. As long as you don't put any shortener links or something that is suspicious, I'm sure you won't get banned.

For OP, try to ask Instagram about your link might be the best way. Many people around here doing CPA + Instagram and concluded that putting link in website section might get you banned. As long as your website is very legit and did not monetize your followers like CPA or survey anything like that, It's fine.. but I might be wrong too since I'm not put my personal website there, but moreover.. what's the point of website section if you can't put your own website?

It's not amazon that is wrong, it's because you put referral links. Instagram is a social media, not a medium to monetize your followers. I guess that is also the reason why most CPA accounts get banned, it's not because only you put the same link to 10 or more accounts, it's because you are trying so hard to monetize all the users on instagram. If you just want to promote your website, instagram is perfectly fine and would be the best medium as your source of traffic due to popularity, but if you like "let me put my referral link in the bio so if people click and buy from that website and I'll get the money". The answer would be no I guess, because the story is very different.. you're not promoting your website, but you're monetizing your followers and other users out there.

Btw, we're talking too far I guess.. I'm not gonna answer any question here. My suggestion to OP is to ask to instagram directly, so he can make sure that he would not get banned. This thread just making unnecessary confusion in my opinion and there are no exact answers.

I agree with you that there is no exact answer how Instagram crawlers and algo work (since we don't know their code) but what I am saying is based on personal experience n test. There are some safety limits which will trigger some flags (sooner or later) . let me present them in this way - Instagram allows you to make up to 5 accounts on one IP and you can safely browse 5 accounts on one IP. You can put same link in your bio for those 5 accounts and get away with it, coz they themselves encourage multiple IG accounts by a same person(as the app has multiple user login built-in) so a person can has same link in all of those profiles. No you will say what about family members, to some extent if you are a human and not doing regular follow/unfollow you might get away with same link on those accounts too but as soon as some flags are triggered like same user is trying to promote his website (based on the algo that we don't know) that domain may be flagged or your accounts will be banned or you might encounter a phone verification or your home IP may be banned. There are too many variable here but I can say that you can't have 10 accounts having same blog link (with or without AdSense) doing regular follow/unfollow coz that's not human. I hope this will suffice

its difficult to say really , just don't make it so obvious and spread yourself out. sometime use link in bio -ex - instagram.com/myaccount , sometimes just tag him using @

quick question guys please help.. we have 6 IG accounts in the same niche and we would like to put a link in our bio that will be directed to our landing page(same link in each of our 6 accounts) . do you think the account might get banned because of that or its fine? and if its risky do you know an alternative way to post the link in the bio without jeopardizing our accounts. thanks an advance

use prelander websites or cloaked re-direct to be extra safe if you think its too risky (bit.ly and google link shorteners dont count and only increase ban chances!).

you can put direct link in 3-4 accounts safely if the accounts are also aged well, any more and it gets a bit riskier.

you straight yes/no answers too this though.
