Are All Backlink Package Available Here The Same?

Hello guys,

I would like to ask you guys if all backlink packages that are available here are all the same. The same in how they provide quality backlinks.

It's because in the past several months, I bought a package from a reputable seller (I won't be telling the name). I bought a package that gave my site around a hundred backlinks. The seller claimed they were "high quality" backlinks.

As I observed the ranking of my site for a month, it went down several pages from the back. Thinking positively that it might just be the so called "google dance", I waited for more months. Until the day came that my site was never to be found on the search result.

At this point, I realized that something is wrong, so I checked the backlink report that was provided to me by the seller and I found out that all of them are crappy backlinks containing spun articles. The articles were obviously spunned that it made no sense when you read them. Other than that, most of the links are now "dead links" linking to an "error page". Some links also takes you to expired domains. I think majority of these links only lasted for 4 to 5 months.

So going back into my question, I need an honest answer especially those that already have the experience.

If your answer is "Yes" then thanks for letting me know. Thus, I won't be wasting my money and time on them and would rather put my focus on creating my own high quality backlinks manually.

On the other hand, if your answer is "No" then perhaps you can give a few tips on how to spot the best services to use or tips on how to avoid my bad experience that I just shared.

You can't expect to pay 1.9$ a link and believe it will stay forever. Perform a due diligence before choosing your links provider, ask him questions about content , about duration of link placement, about the quality of domains and you will save yourself from a lot of hassle later.

Which types of packages would you say are the best?

I have a budget of around £750/$950 per website, 10-15. The websites are already created and ready to rank with each keyword documented.

What services would be best to do this? Web 2.0, PBN Links, Shares, Like Jacking, Mass Planner, Reddit upvotes?

Web 2.0 - Most of them are just new subdomains on an authority site carrying zero link juice. So no no for me

PBN Links - Best if you build your own PBN and keep it to yourself. Second best, rent links from a PBN. Be careful and perform your due diligence. A lot of crap out there.

Shares - Most easily manipulated and have least effect on rankings

Like Jacking - Don't dig yourself a grave

Mass Planner - Nothing to do with rankings

Reddit Upvotes - Another from of social signals/shares

No, not all are the same, far from it.

As above, don't expect to spend $20 and get to page 1, but neither do you expect to spend $2000 and see drop in ranking.

There are a few decent services on here, there are also some poor quality ones.

I use a couple of services that aren't on here and get good results, but these are not cheap services.

If you have time and knowledge, build your own PBN and keep it private.

Mass Planner and the Like Jacking are for the websites that I feel are more social media friendly.
Building my own PBN is an interesting plan that I may look in to with more appreciation considering that amount of money available.

My biggest fear is burning the money with no real gain.

Go for high quality PBN, i have good experience using PBN service here, so no they are not the same

There are a few decent PBNs around here. I would filter them thru recent results by buyers. Hope it helps.

They're not all the same, but a lot of them are. A few things to look for when choosing a seller:

1. Price. If you're buying cheap links, expect low quality. That's not to say high price = high quality necessarily, but as mentioned above, you won't rank 1st with $20.
2. Spun or Handwritten content. In my experience, if a seller doesn't clearly specify "100% unique hand written content", it's probably spun. I try to avoid any spun content in my tier 1 period.
3. Buyer reviews. Probably the most important thing to check. Go by recent reviews and try to find reviews that mention SERP changes and the quality of the service. Not just "Got the report, looks good".
4. Seller experience. Everyone has to start somewhere, but I personally don't like putting my website in the hands of new sellers with little to no reputation. I try to use somewhat established services.

No, services offered are not all the same. They vary a great deal. You should know exactly what you require before going ahead and buying links as expecting link sellers to guide you would be the start of all problems.

I would also suggest taking a good long look at your on page optimization and make sure you META's and on page content is on point. Also if you are struggling to bounce back in the rankings, have a look at your backlink profile and get rid of any obvious spam links.

I haven't actually started any promotion, social or link building for the websites I'm talking about. These are fresh, and a couple of expired, domains that I have built a long-term strategy for. I was looking for advice from other users about my plans.. thanks for your input!
