Totally overrated Instagram..

I make plenty of money on Instagram. I don't know what you're taking about OP. :)

I've made 5 figures on a network of small accounts. Just be creative. You can make money even on the low-end of things. You just gotta know how to work the system.

EDIT: Shout-outs might be the least effiecient way to make money, FYI.

ANOTHA EDIT: PM me OP. I'll help you out.
Do you think having a profile in the fitness niche would bring in decent traffic?

I've seen fashion/ fitness / lifestyle bloggers with followers between 30k - 100k doing promotions for fancy brands( watches, bags, jackets ), not going to even mention the fitness industry and the possibilities out there.

wow I dont know whats wrong, probably its your niche. My account is fitness girl niche, with only 14k followers it has made 36$ so far

10 hours a day on one account? Really curious about what your day looks like.

I think people underestimate how much time, persistence and patience is needed to be even remotely successful on Instagram. I started in December 2015 and just NOW am able to make 4 figures monthly from my biggest account. That took much trial and error and failure until finding out what worked. Many, many failures. Far more failures than successes to get to this point.

People think doing follow/unfollow they'll get to 50k in 6 months and rake it in. Not a chance in hell. Very, very unlikely unless it's a very rare niche.

My advice to newbies is to start a brand new account, buy power likes from big accounts in your niche, and grow. Avoid the pitfalls and failures most of us have had to endure.

Botting and follow/unfollow will get you NOWHERE.

Selling promos/ads/shoutouts is the easiest way, but you need a really big following to make GOOD money, not just small change from that. I have 860k followers on my biggest account, I only started getting brands approaching and buying from me daily around 600k or so. Before then I had to email dozens of brands and the vast majority never responded, even with good pricing and better engagement than other accounts they advertise on.

Some people set up Shopify stores with AliExpress or Amazon but those are really hit and miss. If it hits for you, it can rake in really good $$$.

Bro i have a 50k account with fitness niche and sell shoutouts. With 500k followers theres no reason to not make 1k a week at least.
