I have never written a review on BlackHatWorld despite having bought from a lot of users here. This is to warn everyone before they buy from Jaycee.
1) Jaycee, being a good writer in English, is simply a reseller who charges a higher cost. He doesn't write himself and purchases content at a lower rate.
2) The content is non-native and done quickly with a lot of filler content. I would say more than 50% is unnecessary words pushed into sentences.
3) As you may imagine, for someone that understands English, the content is unusable, even for this price.
4) He will send you samples that are not nearly as good as the content you will receive. So don't get fooled.
5) Knowing the poor quality of his content, he won't issue a refund and revisions are merely an attempt to satisfy.
This is to confirm that @AbeloHost ordered a 2,000-word informational article for the price of $29.80, which is 70 percent off of my base price of $5.00 per 100 words. I advised him to post his review on this thread if that's what he feels he needs to do. I will address my response to everyone since @AbeloHost and I have already discussed.
Just as how it is @AbeloHost's first time to write a review on BHW, this is also my first time to receive a disappointing review for my content writing services here on BHW. You may visit every page on this thread and you'll see comments from my happy customers. You'll find them here, too: http://www.ipresencebizsolutions.com/customer-reviews/. That will make you think this way, "Jaycee got lots of satisfied customers based on the reviews on his website and on his thread on BHW. Now here's a single review from a dissatisfied customer. Did Jaycee deliver poor quality content or this @AbeloHost is just unreasonable and a hard-to-please man?" You be the judge.
I've told him that he may post the article that I delivered and seek everyone's opinion here on the forum but he did not do that. I'd like to address each point mentioned by @AbeloHost.
1. I am not a re-seller. I operate a licensed digital marketing business. I have my own employees. I don't outsource. @AbeloHost is making an assumption that is far from reality. Never did I write anywhere here on BHW that I am the one writing all of these orders. That is impossible. How could I write 1.5 million words a month if I were the only one writing all these?
2. Never did I say anywhere here on BHW that I am a native English-speaking person. I am a Filipino. I am from the Philippines. All of my employees are from the Philippines (starting from the janitor all the way to the supervisors). Here's the irony of it all. Many of my clients are native English-speaking people and they are deliriously happy with the quality of my service notwithstanding the 70 percent off of my base rate. We have a strict quality control process. There's a separate team of writers and editors to avoid bias in proofreading the writers' work. It's hard to believe that the editors allowed "50 percent fluff".
3. Over the past 17 years (and counting) of offering content writing services, I've learned enough from unreasonable and hard-to-please clients who will just give you an outright "Give me a refund. I'm not happy." statement when the issue is not really about the technicalities of requirements but an unmet personal preference in terms of style, word choice, etc.
While I don't offer a refund, I happily accept revision requests if we clearly overlooked something that is specific and measurable from the agreed upon requirements. Now, before I accept payments, I check the requirements first. If can work on the project, that's the only time that I will accept payments. There are many BHW members who can attest that I have politely declined lots of orders just because their topics or requirements are outside our areas of interest and expertise. I don't like headaches so I won't accept it if I think we cannot deliver it.
I accepted the order of @AbeloHost because his topic is one of the topics we've been working on more for than a decade already.
I invite my current and former clients here on BHW to give their testimony about my work and how I treated you.
You know that when I accept a project, I take care of your business like my own.
Here are some of the testimonials of my customers.
