Twitter account locked!

My twitter account seems to be locked due to automated behavior. I tried to unlock but I no longer own that phone number. Is there a way to change the phone number to re-verify? cause I can't even access my profile settings

If its not that you have created bunch of them from same IP, shoot an email to them. It would solve

How do you prevent being triggered from automated behavior? my account is only following 50users each day with random wait times...

If you're planning to create bulk amount of twitter account, make sure all the phone number are alive because any trigger that violates twitter will automatically locked your accounts. I've follow one every 5 minutes automatically for 24 hours it doesn't trigger twitter lock down. try to contact them to verify your ownership with the account and the process is long it takes 2 minutes cheers!
