I've been trying out some Twitter stuff (kind of my own methods) for the last month or so and not having much luck.

I'm finding that Twitter users are more savvy than other online users (possibly?).

Are any of you guys making good money from Twitter? Or would also agree that it's harder to make money from there?

I guess I could just keep trying and trying :P But wondering if I should be focusing on other platforms instead.

I haven't found them to be more savvy, but that is just me. It is important to break up your links with at least 3 non-linked Tweets in between, and that is even on the low end. Obviously everyone has their own strategy, but I offer value for numerous tweets in a row before pushing a link.

I don't use twitter at all. For me - this is just a waste of time. Google + FB are the biggest moneymakers right now.

So you are able to make some decent money from Twitter?

@samiejg,

Yes, just make sure you provide value. Obviously I don't know what your niche(s) are but like most social media, people hate it on Twitter when all you post is links. Also, make sure your offer or whatever your main link is you want to promote is your pinned tweet.

You sure do sound like someone who knows what he's saying.
I haven't made any business entirely on twitter. But i think interchanging and tweet sharers between accounts with lots of followers is the only way to come out big in Twitter.

I made several thousand a year and a bit ago with bet affiliate links. Still make a monthly income now. I'm told they're more lock/ban happy now though, but sure there is money there still though.

@wisdomkid

While having tons of accounts can obviously be beneficial, great success can be had just from 1 simple, aged account. If you need traffic to view your offer immediately, wait for people you follow in your niche to tweet, and then 'like' their tweet immediately. Often times they will go and view your account for responding to their tweet so quickly.

Can i just ask if you used a tipster profile or just a website profile? I am into the casino niche and I find it quite hard to convert players and just trying to figure out if its the niche or me approaching it the wrong way

Had 80 fan profiles with around 200,000 followers. I had it all running through custom software I coded so it was highly customised for each sub niche. Then came the ban wave ha!

Google+? Or you meant Google plus FB. Reason asking is I'll be shocked if I had G+ was doing things.

No. Twitter is simply riddled with bots and ghost users, thus you get little engagement.

You gotta engage a minority of real legit accounts on Twitter. Those might make you $.

g+ has been doing things for years, it was quite easy to go viral there. (my own experience, even though I didn't use it for the last 2 years)

No, not even the guys at Twitter apparently :)

Yes, I meant Google and Facebook. By the way when I make my 1st dollar with Google + will let you know, but don't expect to be anytime soon hahaha
