How to Build Your OWN PBN - A Quick Guide for Newbies

Hi guys, i'm just loving this thread and trying to implement some stuff discussed. I'm now stuck with 7 domains and not sure on which one to proceed with. Can someone help and also explain why you choose a particular site over the other? (So this way I could have some clarity on how the pros deal with PBN's).

Site #1 as it has fairly decent ranking and is higher than other sites because of low back links (only 38). But, I also think Site #4 is good due to lower back links and higher CF/TF. So I could conclude that site 1 and 4 have a good back link profile as they have higher metrics with less than 50 BL's. Am I right?

Which is more important root CF/TF or sub CF/TF? (I'm confused because domain.com (which is root) ranks above hierarchy in terms of the website, but then there are pages that rank higher than root domain in SEO. So how do you deal with this?

I am in a good mood, so If you want to, you can send me the domains over PM and I will explain it why and which you should and shouldn't use and why. I sell domains here and I do this kind of stuff daily, so I believe I can be trusted.

Also, you don't want high CF, I explained this around 20 times here in the past 2 months only. CF is a spam metric, so high CF is not really something you want. Not to mention, that it's not really something that even needs checking. Very unnecessary filter.

It's of course best if all links point to homepage, but it's not a big deal. You can always recreate the inner URLs that have the most links pointing to them or use a 301 redirect plugin. Some people here claim that 301 redirect of dead inner pages is just a weak 302, but I have never had this kind of experience with it. Doesn't mean that it cannot be true though. So do it like this:

- If most links point to homepage, do nothing.
- If half links go to homepage and other half is spread between 5 inner pages, recreate the URLs
- If all the bakclinks are spread all over the site, try to recreate a few inner pages and use 301 redirect plugin

That said, right after posting my query, I applied @clausus method, which is to check on google with www.domain.tld and domain.tld

Out of 7, only 1 came out clean, interestingly it was site #2

What do you mean by clean when you checked the index? They had some Asian stuff indexed?

Clean = Abandoned website. Was built to display some industry/niche specific events using a well known WP theme. And searching for the domain in google throws up description that matches the info from the wayback. So no asian stuff, just proper links from other niche websites.

Have you searched for site:domain.tld? Or you just entered domain name and google threw you all the mentions of the domain?

And this is not really a good way at all to determine the cleanliness of the domain.

yes, searched google for:

domain.tld
www.domain.tld
site:domain.tld

In each of the three, first rank is the domain itself. Then it dilutes into showing some links from other sites and the similar sounding domains.
Total 9 do-follow back links still exists, mostly referencing to the events aspect of it.

You are going about it all wrong really. Yeh, it's fine to check if the domain is indexed, but seeing that those domains have like 8 referring domains, then pff... that's not good enough. And the fact that the domains are indexed or don't have any crappy inner pages indexed, doesn't mean they are clean. They can still have a bad history, bad anchors, bad backlinks etc etc.

Hi, I have a quick question. At the beginning of the post it was mentioned that "Crawlers blocked" is a foot print, but later on this post there was a strong advise to block crawlers with robots.txt/htaccess to prevent other people from sniffing out the PBN.
Now, isn't it also a footprint? isn't it also a way google can find out its a PBN?

Just few tips, see people still makes same mistakes.

- DO NOT use any block for any crawlers
- DO NOT use private registration
- DO NOT ping anything, leave it and wait
- PAY for domains (PBN or Money Sites) for at least 2 years, longer then better
- While buying PBN, always check its SERP status by typing in Google with "site:domain" and just "domain". Always manual work to see how health it is. Do not trust any index checker.

Some great tips. Except that i preffer using small 1$ hosting that seo hostings. It is easier to manage seo ones, but it is safer to use the small ones that have a lot of non=pbn sites on the same shared ip.

Thanks for this tutorial. From reading through this whole thread it seems like it's difficult to trust a lot of these authority/trust rankings from other tools anymore and it's best to do a manual check of the backlinks and referring domains yourself. Curious how everyone is handling their hosting if they don't want to leave a footprint. I see hosting becoming a big problem once you get to the level where you have 30+ PBNs.
