How easy is it to program?

How easy is it to program a very accurate search engine in a smallish website which would only be searching for people names?

Also it would be Wordpress

To make it clear. You have own wordpress website with a database that contains table with names columns ?

That simple search query in sql. Maybe 5 minutes of work (including time for a coffee)
