What is going on with IG?

I've had multiple accounts lose engagement significantly since this year started.
Used to get 1500 likes per pic on a 10k account now it dropped to less than half.

I wondered if it was me so I asked my friend who owns a 30k luxury account. Same thing happened to him. He lost like 30-40% engagement compared to december. WTF is going on,

Something similar happened to me, in my case, my accounts got diaconected from all tools I used to use (like followliker, hootsuite, etc).

I just had to recconect all, no harm done right? WRONG! After that event my engagement rate dropped 33%

Yeah I can see this on some of my accs, however I got used to it ... it's all algorithm shit, sometimes engagement goes crazy and sometimes its totally fucked up. I don't see a difference when I'm using a bot or not.

I sense it's the same thing they're doing when Facebook introduced "Sponsored Posts" many years ago. They're purposely decreasing your engagement so you have to buy ads :|

Didn't hear so far about what happened on Facebook. Can you provide more infos? You could be right - as Facebook bought Instagram, they have very likely the same methods...
