I bought an expired domain about a month ago and populated it with my niche related content to use a PBN, but I'm thinking of selling my main site now as there are too many other simlar sites doing the same as me.

This got me thinking the single site PBN hasnt made any impression to the rankings, so I'll need more of them to rank top 3 or I can use this expired domain as an Amazon affiliate review site.

Has anyone had any experience of using expired domains as their main money site? I've found another good niche and maybe buy another expired domain to use instead of this one.

You can't honestly expect a 1 PBN site to do anything. Especially depending on the quality.

And yes, this is a technique I've been doing for years and it became pretty popular lately, so feel free to use it as a money site no problem. :)

No problem if you buy a name domain and add the quality valuable content and then do some Back links from guest posts real ones,Social media sharings then try some PBN etc and other techniques you can rank higher pretty much for sure.

As long as the expired domain is clean and has no penalties, it is always better to use expired domain for money site since it has already an existing traffic.

Interesting, have you ever ranked a PBN without building any links to it though?

No. But if you can rank for a CPA product name with 50K search volume, with a stupid one pager 150RD domain, 17th off the bat, then well... yeh that helps. :D
