best desktop email client

I am looking for an email client similar to "the bat" that is for desktop and has an autoresponder.....any suggestions?

There's TEAR, but I prefer The Bat because it's easily cracked and it's simple to set up.

yeah thats true and i searched for a long time and could not find anything like the bat besides mozilla thunderbird but the autoresponder had a bad bug in it and would not send the subject line properly......the bat rules!
