My new eBook, get it now! $$$

Finally! I've been waiting for @VapeMonkey to do this! Now I really want to join an engagement group! :D

What a great topic and post here vapor, thanks for the opportunity for picking at your brain.

So basically I acquired an education website that gets 200k college students per month to use a grade calculator.

I plan on redesigning the site into the number 1 resource for student services such as taking online classes, resume building, paper and assignment submission, etc.

I want to start a facebook fan page/ instagram and I planned on just boosting the page.

What would you recommend? What posts do you have on your IG? Thanks bud!

And great case study :)

Different accounts, different people, different strategies. The people who post 5-10 times a day are mainly focussed on growth, while the 2-time posters are mainly focussed on engagement. I do both, depending on which account I'm working. The established accounts get the 1-2 per day treatment. :)

Thanks for sharing your expertise.

I would like you to clarify one point, you are saying above that frequent posting generates growth and infrequent posing generates engagement. And by reading your precedent posts (and Imgrej's posts, it seems that you are sharing the same opinion), I understood that engagement was driving growth, so I am little confused. I will be grateful if you can further develop on this matter.

Thanks,

Blackgal

Engagement doesn't drive growth, but it does help to push your content to the explore page which drives growth. So I guess the answer is both yes and no.

Fewer posts = Better engagement
More posts = Better reach

TLDR?
Worked 5 months with 3 accounts to accumulate 40k followers in total. Abandoned that shit and rebuild.
6 months later at 1.3M.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • Started with 2-3 accounts on Followliker, gained about 100-150 a day, pretty agressive settings on aged "personal" acounts.
  • Tweaked settings and was gaining like 150-300 a day, I was God.
  • I heard something about "DM groups".....hell it was fucking difficult to get in one. I always received the answer "sorry, we're full"
  • At about 15k I rolled in my first group and was extremely active. A lot of people noticed this and they start adding me to other groups without me asking for it. So it happens, I'm in 20+ groups with accounts that are way bigger than me (40-80k)
  • Botting + DM groups brought me to about 400-600 followers a day.....I WAS KING and knew it all!
  • While I was growing, I noticed that my likes didn't grow with my accountsize.....FUCK I WAS FLAGGED, probably because of the dumbfuck follow/unfollow/liking (1600 actions a day).
  • Now I did some "sneaky" stuff. Instead of using my main, I was forwarding my post from a brandnew account. I was already in "big" groups, lets make use of it. Within a month that account was bigger than any other account I had.
  • That new account grew like a motherfucker and I was rolling through all the "levels" of DM groups and leaving the smaller ones.
  • It became my mainaccount and I joined Kik groups. Fuck that shit.....worthless crap.
  • I joined Telegram groups, I used the app already anyway. First time right! I hit the jackpot and down the road I joined/was added to a lot of new Telegram groups. All crap, no structure, small accounts, leechers.
  • With these groups, you are allowed to grow your new/baby accounts as long you return with your main that meets the group requirements.
  • Daily follower gains blowing up like hell....1k-2k? Awesome! 3-6k? Became the standard as you keep studying, learning and pushing the game.
  • Never got banned or got weird verification requests (yet)
  • Can grow brandnew accounts 50k-100k a month.

Ask me all the shit you want to ask. I only give answers, probably no numbers, names etc. etc. Ask SMART stuff, no dumb shit. I have the right to ignore your question.
Hi I'm making up an instagram account on motivation and inspiring others but I'm still not able to gain any good followers, I even purchased this bot called massplanner tried everything. But I'm still not able to get any followers and engagement. Where am I going wrong?

Thanks, but I am still confused. From what I understood, low ( or moderate) engagement won't lead your post to reach the explore page. So if you post frequently with low engagement, you might only reach your followers, right?

Sorry to insist on this subject, I hope my interrogation doesn't look to stupid. But I choose the few post path and would like to see if I have to re-assess my strategy in order to grow.

Other question, how much time are you spending daily on this engagement group?

And last question, I was wondering if a software ( or whatever you call it) which measures the activity of your followers in order to determinate the best moment for posting, exists?

Thanks,

Blackgal

If you turn your account into a business account, it will show you when your followers are most active.

PM me your account name, I'll see if I can give you some suggestions to help your growth, if you want.

officialsuccesstrivia , do look over mine too!

Well, that's an extremely saturated niche. I mean you can pull it off, but it's very hard without a lot of powerlikes or shoutouts.

To start, you should try to use around 5 hashtags related to your caption and post.

Thanks, but is it measuring the activity of the followers on your account?

or is it measuring the activity of your followers in general?

I am looking for the second one. It might be too much to ask but ideally, it would measure when your followers are interacting with IG, dropping likes and comments and then compile the data to determine when is the best time to post to gain visibility and engagement.

Hmmm, only the first I think. But I don't think the two are necessarily mutually exclusive.

I do agree with you but in my case, I try to be hyper active right after I post to maximize the engagement. So I guess data won't be very reliable.

You can make your accoount into a business account to see those stats.

I spend about 1hour total daily o rdoing rounds and like 6hrs chatting with the guys.

Just read the whole thread... great info! Thank you to all for sharing your expertise.

My question is just one - how do you get started with these groups, where do you find them so you can start moving through the levels?

@VapeMonkey Thanks for your insight. It assures to me that my manual method is the best option. I genuinely like to interact with people. My question to you is how can I increase my base and finally reach 1,000+ followers? I have close to 700 but it took me close to 3 months from today. Probably the first person you came across with the slowest rate huh? Pretty lame lol.

Thanks for offering your help here @VapeMonkey. I just read the whole thread and it was very interesting. I have a 6k travel account growing at about 120ish per day with f/uf, rounds and some EGs.
Would love to know what you might suggest for faster growth and hopefully not damage my engagement which sits at about 15%+

this post is awesome @VapeMonkey , thank you!

I have a 16k personal account but I don't know which engagement group to get into or how to. most of the links I find here on BHW are expired, no longer exist, dead or something similar.
could you point me in the right direction with that?

@VapeMonkey, you're a bit of a legend in this field and I've been reading a lot of posts from yourself, imGrej and mladz.

I'm mostly into SEO and new to the IG game but I've grown my account to 90k. I know this is nothing compared to you guys and other guys growing 100k per month.

I've been trying to find some high quality EGs to improve my growth but haven't found any luck yet. I know networking is important and I've also sent DMs to the big accounts in my niche.

Have you got any tips on how I can find decent groups? Definitely don't wanna be spoon fed but a step towards the right directions would be much appreciated mate!

I'm looking for some good groups to grow my 50k Account :-/

Hi guys, thanks for sharing all these great tips.

I'm a photographer and only post my own photos on my IG account which I created less than a year ago. I have 3.6k followers and average likes and comments are 596 and 16 respectively. I was very enthusiastic of growing my followers at the beginning but lost the interest a few months ago due to a lot of studies.

I only grow my IG manually, when I'm most active I use to like 500-600 pictures/day and follow 400 accounts/day. This method is very time consuming and I don't want to use any bots. You guys mentioned engagement groups on for example Telegram, how do I get in to these kind of groups? And how does it work?

I would be very grateful if you came up with some other tips on how I can manually grow my account.

Have a nice day/night! :)
