I found a niche with a high value product ranging from $200 to $500. Additionally, it has only 2 amazon sites competing for the money keywords which are only 3 at best. Only one of these sites is in the top 3 though, and the content on the website is very poor, both grammatically and and in engagement.

I actually contacted the webmaster and asked him pretty much everything a competitor might want to know about the website. I presume he thought i wanted to buy his website.
He told me that the website receives 200 UV per day and that he made $500 over the last month. He invested $70 into SEO services.

The main keyword only has 740 searches per month. and i honestly don't see how he could be getting 200 UV-s considering that I could find only 20 articles on the website and only one article targets these expensive products, the other articles are for 15$ complementary goods with very little search volume.

To make things worse, the 740 average search keyword gets 2000 searches in the months of November and December, but only 300 during the summer. The product should not be seasonal at all, i'm not sure what this is all about.

Is it really worth investing in this niche? Im sure i can destroy the subpar competitors. I also like the potential commision even though it is an electronic product.

If you have to ask on a forum...answer is usually yes.
Sounds like you got a winner. Unless you have a better use of your time, go for it.

So you do all this research and come to the forum to see if its worth pursing? If you really know your thing, you know when its a good deal or not. In this case does not seem to be a good deal otherwise you will have pull the trigger.

Of course, go for it.

The seasonal tendency is really bothering me. if it had 750 searches consistently i would do it.
But considering how hard it is to find a decent niche these days, i'm gonna go for it. I will first build manual web 2.0 with contextual backlink blasts and will Buy a $100 PBN after a month or two.
