If you injure them they can sue best to just kill them since they are attacking someone and that person's life is in danger. Well thats what its like where I live, idk about the laws of other places.

Technically, the person you saved could also sue you.

its not about the place and the laws......i just believe hurting someone for own selfishness or personal profit or pleasure, surely it's going to reflect back. ..... according to me or my laws i will definitely give them a chance (in this scenario i wud indefinitely "injure" them.)

Thats in California, where I live a person would be protected from civil liability for killing people in such a situation.

You've clearly planned this out, step by step.
For family, sure thing. For strangers, pretty easy answer : No. Now, depends of the situation but let's take your fictional example and add a gun in there. So for a chance to get shot to save someone I don't even know, fuck no. Doing the right thing while being dead does not sound that good as doing something "wrong" and being alive (morally wrong as in not punishable etc).

I won't give a shit about that woman. Why should anyone risk his/her life for a stranger. If that woman matters a lot in this world then I will think about getting involved in fight but if she is just an cute ordinary woman then let her face it on her own. No one gives a shit about you if you live or die, they only care for their own life and their families
if you cant get up the courage to save someone elses life who will certainly die by simply risking your own i dont think you should have your life in the first place. someone has a 100% chance of dying if you dont intervene. you intervene and have it at 50/50 but you decide not to because its a 50/50 you'll die... means you are knowingly just as in the wrong as whoever holds the gun with the smoking barrel. ignoring someone and assuming they're not worth just as much as your own life results in you being a murderer in that situation. i'd outright kill myself to save someone else no matter who it is about to be killed. most likely they're life is worth more then my own anyway.
