Like seeing a woman that is harassed and there are like 3 guys assaulting her, would you help her to escape risking your own life and knowing that you will die for this? Just saw the movie Donnie Darko, and i was thinking what personally i would do..

If i thought the woman was in danger i'd be in there like Conor Mcgregor on Jose Aldo. If i come out OK then great, if not then oh well least i tried. I'd do that for anyone not just a woman.
I was hit with an hammer 13 years ago after stopping a bunch of nobheads picking on an old man. I'd do it all again without a second thought.

It's easy to look at a situation and make assumptions, but how do you know that your act of "generosity" won't cause more problems for other people? For all you know, saving her life could have dire consequences. Refer to the trolley problem; do you save 1 person or do you save 5 people? Do you push a corpulent person on the tracks to save everybody? There's no right answer, only speculations.

Here's some recent footage of me the last time someone fucked with my favorite waitress at this cafe.
ohh, come on, It's a general question..But if you want, the woman harrased has like 27 years old and 1 child. It's without husband and if you will not help her, she will die, or will have serious health problems. After this incident she can't work anymore and can't grow his little 3 year old boy.

I'd rather die than watch my wife being raped though, the feeling of helplessness just isn't for me.
I would gladly give my life for her in certain situations.
If it was a close friend, maybe I'd try to help him, if I was 100% guaranteed to die then no.

I would never walk away from someone being attacked. Wouldn't matter if it's a women or a man, it's just not in my nature to do that.
Although I walk around with a can of mace, so if anyone fucks with me or my family they get sprayed in the face, I'd likely spray anyone attacking someone and then tell the attacked person to leave.

Truthfully, the way things work out it is pointless speculating, when the time comes, it will be a fight or flight response and how you react will be dependant on the circumstances.

That's a WHOLE different thing, getting involved in a strangers fight is one thing, but sticking up for your loved ones is something else.
I'm pretty sure anyone would fight for their wife. Anyone that goes near my family would find themselves tied up and having me cutting parts off their body, and then blowtorching the open wounds.
When it comes to family you don't fuck around!
Second that. Most guys who say yes will only give their life if the situation involves a woman. Probably hoping the woman will fall in love with you and you end up getting laid. Basically you r risking your life to get laid.

Truth be told, I still probably wouldn't lift a finger. There's no way for me to realistically take on 3 guys who would just pummel me into the ground before they would proceed with harassing the woman. Why should 3 lives (mine, the woman's, and the child's) be ruined when only two lives could be ruined? Let's not forget what Asif brought up; I have to think about my own family as well.
But let's be honest, most people would just film the harassment while monotonously saying, "Hey. You. Stop."

Why is there a presumption of a womans life value being more than a man? So on this premise, no.
But in general, whether its a woman, man or child Id equally try to help them. Thats just the right thing.
